Description

There is only one crossing per day between Goya and Reconquista. We crossed from Goya. The ferry arrives in Puerto Goya in the morning at 9.30(ish) AM then waits till 4PM when it leaves to Puerto Reconquista. Meanwhile, at 2.30 the office opens when you need to purchase your ticket (for a truck like ours and two people is about 1000 pesos) Then embark at 3-3.30PM. If you have to wait overnight (as we had to) there's a super rundown ex-municipal campsite-looking place (quite dirty) now a family lives there. It is a large grassy with trees area behind the ticket office. But can park right on the river bank and watch sunset. We walked up and asked the family and they kindly let us stay with no problem nor few. (though she said there's no toilet or water) It was free but we gave a small bottle of rum as thank you the next day.

Balsa between GOYA and RECONQUISTA, it takes two hours, cost 2700 pesos (65 usd approx) for a camper on Nissan Navara and two persons, every day at 16:00 from Goya and 06:00 from Reconquista...No service onboard but worth the experience !!
