You can’t camp around this mirador anymore. A hostel worker intercepted us at 8pm, and told us that if we didn’t move, he’d call the police and “that it would get dangerous here?” He ended by advertising some campgrounds and his own hostel. Weird energy. We packed up and camped elsewhere.

I'm conflicted about this place. It's super beautiful and I didn't see any police, very quiet night. But, it feels like you are camped on a walkway, with a lot of tourists trying to take pictures of the mountains with your car in the middle. I'm guessing this is going to be a prohibited place very soon. Absolutely stunning though.

I like this place if you are a small van. Possible to get level and relatively well protected from winds.

Great hike with amazing view over the rainbow mountains. Only 3km so easy and quick!

Lovely spot. We came up after having dinner in town as the area was busy with lots of tourists in the early evening. Really quiet night, first tourists came at about 9am so we left soon after.

Very nice spot at the route of rainbow mountains. Not really flat, but comfortable for one or two smalls vans. We had a really quite night surrounding by the stars and beautiful landscape. In the morning we left early to avoid disturbing the view point.
