Stayed with my family overnight with 31 ft tt. Had it to ourselves. Gets hot and bright early. Very easy spot to pull through. Not super level but works for overnight.

Nice Views, A Little Windy, But that or floods are our travel mo....
Lots of traffic in daytime, popular place to take a break and look at the "Little Badlands" views. Quiet at night, stayed here in a 42 ft 5th, plenty of room. One other small van stayed the night with us.
Would Stay here again. Thank you I Overlander!!
Verizon was fast enough for streaming.
Felt safe enough, no lighting, out of town, our kind of stop!

Amazing views, really awesome, lots of space but we were only ones there, there's a rest stop about 7 min drive up the road with pretty clean nice toilets and drinking water, a few pieces of trash left over from other people so just a reminder to everyone to take rubbish with you!

A very quiet spot on the edge of a wild landscape. Fast enough Verizon service for me to stream a movie. Extremely windy, enough to toss my bus around like a boat at sea!

Report Check-In

As described, just a large gravel parking area with a mini Bad Lands vibe to it.

Awesome spot right off the highway. I had the place to myself on a Friday night. Road wasn’t too busy. If you walk down to the edge of the fence, there’s and an opening for you to go down to the edge and see Hell’s Half Acre in all its glory. This place rivals the badlands and you’ll have the entire place to yourself. It’s pretty incredible!

Report Check-In

As described, good for a night. Really interesting rock formations make for a nice view.

Nice pull off, quite, but very windy. Good place to park, sleep and get back on the road. Closest rest area to the west was closed due to construction.

Interesting place. Used to be a restaurant and motel, along with a full campground here. Now it’s just a fenced gravel pullout.

Medium strength Verizon LTE, but good data speed.

If you want to wander in the badlands, there is access from an old road just past (east of) the old campground.

Hell's Half Acre was used as the location for the fictional planet of Klendathu in the movie Starship Troopers.

One last bit of info, it’s actually 320 acres.

Report Check-In

No campground but a big rough turn around area. Highway noise but quiet at night.

Great convenient spot for any size rig. Large pull off right off the highway. We stayed 1 night. Great sleep spot with super cool views!

Report Check-In

Still available and lot of space even for big Rig. Close to the road though but not that much busy.
