An abandoned complex of 4 hotels next to Dubrovnik. By the beach.Public toilets are open during the day
Fresh water shower on beach.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Wow fantastic, the ruins have turned out amazing pictures. Camping there is tolerated. Everyone finds a great place for themselves.
wow fantastisch,
die Ruinen sind sagenhaft
tolle Bilder geworden.
das campen dort wird geduldet.da findet eigendlich jeder einen tollen Platz.
Beautiful and interesting place to camp. A no camping sign is present at the entrance road but there were multiple vehicles camping here and no one bothered us. The eastern site near the bar (closed at the time of our visit) seems the most quiet. Showers not functional and toilets closed.
Report Check-InWe stayed 2 days. Very unique experience to camp here. The building were destroyed in the war. Locals and visitors now use the beautiful beaches around. Still there are some military bases around.
Report Check-InLots of parking space. If you park a bit hidden in the forest, no noise in the morning.
FYI, there is a “no campers” sign at the entrance road. Seems like it’s not enforced
Report Check-InI camped in my tent here 2 nights on a weekend in mid July.Fantastic spot!!
Nobody bothered me.
Plenty of people come to the beach daily but between 7-8pm nearly everyone leaves. And by 9pm I was alone with one other campervan.Sometimes a car comes by, stops by the beach front, plays some music for 20 mins then leaves.
Really it's a very quiet at night and slept well.
The beach where the bar is has a fresh water shower too!
Very cool location with lots of good camping spots. We woke up to the sound of wheedwackers at 6.30, but the guys working there were not chasing away any campers. Lots of locals go to the beach, starting at 7.30 in the morning. Not the place for lazy morning ;-)
Report Check-InPlace is still perfect for overlanders. Busy by day, quiet at night. Public toilets close to the beach bar on the east side. Had breakfast on the former terrace of the hotel. Bullitholes prove it wasn’t this quiet in the nineties
Report Check-Inabandoned resort with several buildings, insides are really damaged, but its worth it to take a look, its also near the beach.
i added some photos
been here for 3 days and nights.
just park a bit back near the little harbor on the right. there your can drive on the wide walkway to the entrance of the hotel and park in the shade of the trees.
Really nice location, full of history. You can park here for the night and enjoy the beach, really quiet at night. You can also visit the abandoned Kupari complex.
Report Check-InWe checked the place today and found two new looking signs, one at the entrance and one a little further in, that forbid camping for campervans and tents.
Report Check-InBusy place during the day but there is a beach where you can swim. Lots of places to park near the abandoned hotels. Quiet at night. No facilities. Free. There is a toilet block along the beach near the beach bar.
Report Check-Infantastic. many options to park up for the night. huge area. we left in the morning when the first ppl started walking past with their dogs
Report Check-InGreat place to stop. Locals very friendly. Ask security if it's ok to sleep and they will just tell you to stay out of the buildings. Expect it to be demolished for new report in 2017/8.
Report Check-InIt is a great place to stay a night! A lot of space with shade and the ocean right in front. Next to the beach bar are toilets and a outside shower. On weekends super crowded with locals...
