Description

Center for protection, conservation and reproduction of diversified wildlife -

First we thought this is the turtle place but I think that is a bit further up the road but the gate was closed when we came (not sure though as they have turtles here). general admission to see the animals is 40 for adults and 25 for children. It has turtles and alligators. we asked about camping and we were charged 200 and did not try to negotiate. you can park close to the beach and there is beach access from the property. but as our van was too tall to get under some cords we parked by the entrance. Owners seem friendly. we are the only ones here. toilet and shower (not sure if warm or not) on property.

It is not possible to camp here. But you can pay 40 pesos Per adult and 30 pesos Per child to visit few turtles and one aligator. Not a good option…

Very nice location, very clean, nice hosts. Good purpose your supporting. Directly at the beach only for smaller vans, bigger rigs can stay in the garden.
Lots of mosquitos.
Ask to if you want to bring your own pets.
(free running peacocks and dogs).

As described. I was going to go back to José's Cabañas like earlier in July but too many mosquitoes and this one looked closer to the beach, I first decided to check out the free spot just before this place. Although you can camp pretty much anywhere on the beach if you access with a 4WD, I decided to come here to see the caïmans and support the local business and get some shade.
I paid 100 pesos for one night. Indeed a big rig won't fit to the beach. You have to fit under an electric cord that can be pushed up about 350cm high. Width is also a concern if you want to get to the beach, ball park 210cm max.
My VW van fit like a glove.
Angela ( always smiling) and Benjamin are really friendly, animal lovers. They have a couple pug dogs, Rocco the black one is only 5 months old and a cutie.
They showed me around and left me alone.
Clear showers and toilets.
Highly recommended! 🤙

Stayed one night. Arrived on my motorcycle and the nice woman had me set up my tent and park my motorcycle under the carport. I think it was her husband parking spot. It rained all night but I had dry gear to put away the next morning. They people were super nice and I was grateful for a shower and bathroom. The place was empty when I arrived. Not fancy, pretty basic but great place if your travel through the area. Don't expect luxury, a place to sleep with a shower and bathroom. Oh and bonus, you get to look at the crocodiles..

Beautiful spot right on the beach. It is actually a crocodile farm, with places to camp. We had a small van, big rigs might be an issue.
Very clean showers and toilets.
2 minute drive into town, with plenty of restaurants and tiendas.
A restaurant right beside us, but very over priced.
200 pesos for the night. Not sure if that is per person or not.

We checked out Jose’s Camping and Cabañas, but decided to take a quick look here before deciding...we are very glad that we did. Jose’s was perfectly acceptable, but El Caiman is much better! We fit under the cable at the entry with no problem in our Tundra with a roof-too tent. There are palms lining the driveway, but they were not a problem. The camping is at the edge of the beach. We spent a great evening watching the sun setting over the ocean. There is a bathroom with toilet and shower. The owner is delightful and very welcoming. She brought out a table and chairs (with a tablecloth) for us to use. While it is better for smaller rigs and tents, larger rigs can park near the front and use the space closer to the beach to hang out.
