Description

Great place with lots of different and well priced activities to learn about the San People. Can do anything from a 1 hour bush walk to a whole day experience. Well worth the money and it’s in support of the whole SAN community that still live here. Campsite there to for just N$60 pppn.

Latest Check-Ins

The San Living Museum is not here. The "Reception" is ca. 500 m further than the camping. The Reception is just a sign under a tree

Go to ‘reception’ (a big tree) and pick your activity. We just showed up around 13h and could still choose every activity.

Yes! It is really nice how the community shows the lifestyle of the ancient San. We did a 3 hours tour (250 ppn.) where they show you how the San light fire, make a bow and arrow, how the women produce jewellery and go on a bush walk to learn about plants for daily use, medicine, and poison. In the end they will show traditional dances they still do these days. You can ask so many question and get an impression how the San used to live and how they do in these days. It was not a human zoo for us, it was more like they say a Living Museum (which makes it not boring to learn about culture and history).
These guys found a way that everybody can enjoy...
