Laguna Torre | Tourist Attraction

Beautiful hike, 18 km out and back but entertaining throughout. Worth doing this on a sunny day but bring sunscreen. The first 3 km are the hardest, the rest are relatively flat. We are really not fit but from the trailhead it took us 7 hours in total, including all the breaks.

Easy 20km day hike indeed! Mostly flat. Don't expect the lake to be bright blue, it was kinda greyish. Otherwise nice view and it wasn't too crowded!

Here at the Icebergs beach you will be at the foot of the Laguna Torre with a view of the great glacier. The icebergs from the glacier are driven by the wind and come to the edge of the lake where you can touch them and take beautiful photos. You can walk a little further to get a better view of the glacier.

Easy hike, about 10 km one way from El Chalten. A lot of day hikers. You can do it as 3 day hike, and stay at Agostini and Poincenot campsite (free), to have less croud and better photography light.

Same as described. Can be busy in the trails. Check the weather forecast for no low hanging clouds, otherwise you don't see the Glacier. They have great weather predictions at the visitor center and most ho(s)tels, or check it on windguru.

From the laguna you can also walk another 1km along the right edge of the lake to "Mirador Maestri" for a better view of the glaciar. //

The hike to Laguna de Torres is well marked and easy to moderate. The official time is 3 hours one way, so 6 return. Its scenic along the way.
