Description
La Gondola is a super nice place to stay with or without car. This place has everything what a overlander needs! Direct beach access and parking with grass and/or sand, lots of chill out areas and a bar. No hight restrictions because of two different entrance gates. You can contact the owner Sergio directly with WhatsApp +593 985125249 or just stop by and ask for a place. The price per night per van is 10US$ including cold shower, bathroom, electricity and best WiFi ever.
The staff is super friendly and helps you with everything you need! The center is just 5 minutes walking and the surf spot 15 minutes walking along the beach away. Highly recommend this little paradise!

It is not a space for motorhomes, they only provide spaces if they do not have guests. we made an appointment in advance to be here for 4 days, they were ok, and when we arrived we were treated badly, they said that there was no vacancy, that the hostel was full and that we had to do our best to find another place. in addition to sending several rude emojis (🖕🏻) unnecessarily via WhatsApp as he was not on site. we do not recommend this space in Montanita !
Report Check-InIt looks good as described, however the owner asked $15 per person to sleep in a van (in total $30 for 1 night 2 people) so we didn’t do it because usually we sleep at places for $5 or $10 dollars a night with 2 people in a van.
Report Check-InYep, now 10$ but hit water in the shower. Great spot, wifi super fast. So good to sleep with the noice of the waves closed, very peaceful.
Report Check-InWe've been at several places in Montanita but didn't like them. Then we found La Góndola. It's a super nice and quiet place with friendly staff. The owner speaks english. Tent camping is $8 per tent. The WiFi signal is good. You can rent surfboards for 10$/day and a teacher for 15$/1,5 hours. Safe parking for motorcycles and vans. Highly recommended!
