Report Check-InLovely in-town resort. You’re not going to get beautiful sunsets but it’s very clean, very nice and it has a 50m lap pool in perfect condition.
Drinking water, hot water on tap, electricity and wifi at the camp. Shower has good pressure. All in all a great camp and good value. 265 for 2 with a car in Aug 2023.
Nice campsite. Good facilities. Not a lot of privacy, spaces very close to each other.

Report Check-InBig campsite with a lot of pitches with big trees for shade. Ablutions are fine and showers run hot with good pressure.
Campsites are not really private though since you are standing next to eachother without anything in between, but we didn’t mind. Huge pool as well.
Have to say there were a lot of guests playing music or just sitting around bonfire talking till deep in the night, so not much sleep at all. I think it’s a great site but not in the holiday season.

Report Check-InWonderful camping spot. When you compare apples with apples these ablutions must be the best we’ve had! Wonderful showers. Well maintained. Staff friendly. Wifi so-so. Many overlanders stop here to re-group and take a break. Lovely deli-supermarket nearby. Meat supplies can be stocked up there. The restaurant is good too. Starters were nice. My husband’s rump was a little disappointing but my fillet was fine. Gorgeous pool. All in all great stay. Laundry service good but you can do your own with a token for R20 wash R20 dry. Highly recommend this stay.

Amazing grassy grounds with HUGE trees and an Olympic sized swimming pool. restaurant on site had lovely view of the grounds and was great value. Camp sites were large but no divide between campers. shared ablutions with large hot showers and toilets accessed for individual use - super clean and lush. N120pp

Report Check-InBigger resort with conference centers, pool, grill restaurant etc. Basically on a corner with 2 busy roads on 2 sides. They seem to have motel style rooms (2 story) on the 1 roadside, and chalets higher up, further from the road. The campsite is basically in between. 20-30 nice, grassy patches, but not too big, so if it's busy it will be crowded. However, when we were there, there were only 3 overlander couples and 1 bigger group.
The ablutions are nice and clean and the showers are amazing, IF they are warm, however. The huge rain showers have so much pressure that all the warm water in the building is used up if 1 person showers 5 minutes.
Other than that, it was only 250 for 2 people (SADC), and the place was pretty nice for a stop-over.

Neautiful olympic pool, also for professional swim trainings!
If asked I would say my favourite campsites are those in the middle of the bush, miles from people surrounded by wildlife. But this site forces me to admit that actually having a bit of luxury with access to facilities is quite nice sometimes too! Restaurant has been revamped and modernised since our last visit 3 years ago. Laundrette is a great facility. The little shop offers everything you might need plus many additional goodies. Shower probably is the best in the world and I just LOVE that pool! I could spend a week here just for that!
Only downside is the proximity to a busy road, so you need ear plugs to sleep.
Overall this place is excellent value for money - NAD240 for two people in a roof tent for the night.

Probably the best shower in the WORLD! Grassy sites, with loads of large trees casting deep shade. Nice tasting tap water. Free wifi which is good near the pool but only just stretches to some of the pitches.

And the best thing - pond with ducks and sound of running water all through the night. The campsite was almost empty - 4 campers all together.

Very good price fir what you get (we paid 720N$ for 4 people at 2 nights)
Good to know: the pool is public from 10-17h and can get very busy. You’re basically camping on the grass next to the pool, so not the most quiet/relaxing stay on weekends and holidays.
Also; the campsites can get very full. There are 16 campspots, but in highseason there were more than 25 campers parked on those spots.

the pool is very good for swimming a few lengths after all that driving.
Perfect is also that they offer washing mashines and dryers for self using. 20 per token (1 token per load or drying)...you can use them 24h...So if you arrive late laundry is still possible. They also have a laundry service but not on weekends.
Nice spot, shade, some grass, but close to road into town so there is noise. I'd hate to have to use ablutions when it is full as there only seem to be 2 bathrooms, albeit they are nice. N$120 for the campsite + 60 per person! I've had better for less.
Report Check-InAll as described before. This is lodge like camping. Ablution are better than 5 star. Price is better that most other camping and with way better facilities. Definately the best we have been to.

Trees, lawns, pub, hot water And a bougie atmosphere is what your going to get. At N120pppn, this place is an absolute steal. We were not planning to stay, but glad we did.

Everything as stated below. Nice grassy sites with power, water and braai although it can be cramped when its full. Abolution block is amazing and clean. Wifi at campsite which is descent. The bar and restaurant is a nice place to sit and relax. Food (pizza and eisbein) was okay.

Best camping I have experienced anywhere:
Ablushions are outstanding, the pool is the biggest in the entire country!! and the campsights have everything one could wish for (water, brai, power and light (which you can turn off yourself)). And of course free internet on all spots. Price is also ok (120 for the spot plus 60 per person). Definitely worth staying - even making a detour if you are overlanding. Laundry machine is - of course - also available.
Restaurant is ok. Strong focus on pizza & burgers, but filet also available. Breakfast also available.
A very surprising campsite. Excellent quality, seems like a South African resort transplanted to Namibia.
Road noise (trucks) is an issue but not significant. The sites are all right next to each other, so if it is full it might feel squeezed, however only 4 were occupied out of about 15 when we were there.
The steaks at the Dros restaurant are excellent, shame that they skimp on the size of the portions of chips and vegetables though.
All as stated below: high class, luxurious campground for very little money! The staff is really friendly and the pool is epic! Nice grassy campsites and the little noises from the road didn't bother us at all!

Yes.... it's all true: 5 star ablution, check, including rain shower, check, Olympic swimming pool (!!!) check, practically empty campsite, check, well stocked camping store, check. And all that for NAB 120 per site and 60 pppn. Only downside is the campsite is next to a quite busy road and you cannot help feeling a bit guilty over the grass that is being watered all day. We really enjoyed the light switch off, switch on game we played with te gards for 3 nights.
Report Check-InYes the place is very nice, as all other campers and overlanders described. I camped for one night on top of my LR and next day came back as car was in garage. I had to pay full price 180.- ppn although i only had a tent with me. Secondly, i had forgotten my towel inside my car, but at reception it was not possible to hire/ rent a towel. “That has never happend!” Speachless

Report Check-InBest maintained and equipped Camp Ground we've seen in Africa so far. Everything as stated. Each Camp Slot has it's own Lantern, Braai Pit, Water and Electricity. Washing Mashine and Dryer are 20 NAD (1,50 Euro) each. The only Thing that bothered us was that Dryer is a bit week and it's not allowed to put your Cloth on a Line for drying... after complaining it was allowed. No pets! Restaurant was okay (average Pizza and good Hamburgers).
