National Forest Campground. Inner loop with water and electric $15, outer loop dry camping $10.
NF campground on Lake Roberts, may be listed otherwise as Lake Roberts CG. Flush toilets, table, fire rings and grill. Mainly level sites, some back in, some pull off. Big rig friendly. No cell service at all. We arrived around 4 pm on a Sunday early April and there were plenty of FF sites. Lovely spot overlooking the lake with trail leading down to the water. Can also get to Purgatory Chasm hike from the CG. About 45 min south of Gila Cliff Dwellings. A real gem!

Report Check-InCamp is called Mesa Campground, not Lake Roberts, but is over the lake and some sites have a view of the lake. Inner loop has water & electric for 15$ and outer has none for 10$ but some like 15&16 have water view and a little privacy. There is a spigot just off the road between sites 14 and 15 on inner side. Dump station long closed. Flush toilets. Quiet when no generators going. Lots of open spots Sunday 4/2/23 at 4pm. Some sites big rig accessible but at least half small to medium back in.
