Peru
Campsite just before the Llactapata ruins, with great view on Machu Picchu and the Salkantay peak.
When I passed, Silverio was still working to improve his site. For the moment it's rather wild camping, there is nothing except dry toilets. But the place is amazing and Silverio is very friendly, interesting (only speak Spanish and Quechua) good cook. You pay what you want according to your satisfaction and generosity.
Prix libre.

Pleasant campsite in a great location, the 360° view is absolutely incredible! The owner is Peruvian but we don't see it, they are Western volunteers who take care of the campsite and the restaurant (strange!). Besides, no luck for us, we came across an unpleasant and haughty volunteer, we are very far from the welcome of the Peruvians! The showers are hot and very well appointed. The cost is 15 SOL per tent. Dinner (light) and breakfast (light) is 15 SOL each.
Report Check-InSuper nice viewpoint. The owner is kind. There is now WC and a cold shower, and a small shop. You can drink a coffee or a fresh orange juice. Many animals!! 20 soles per tent
