A great place, dark and quiet in the woods. we parked at the beginning of the gravel road but I think there is something further. we had a great night, nobody bothered us.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
No normies allowed. If I catch you here in your 100k sprinter van or your dodge pro master with butcher block counters I’m slashing your tires
Report Check-InSeveral campsites around the lake, 2-3 of them right next to the water, beautiful views, silence, firepits . We had neighbors but not very close. Lot of privacy, its in the woods so u can collect plenty firewood. U can see stargaze at night, we had an amazing night, wish we could have stay longer. Also, gunshots all evening and night but we didn’t mind.

Report Check-InNice lake spots, lots of local traffic for gun range created in the back. Was by the lake and over 5 cars throughout the night came by. Very nice trails for the dog to walk around and plenty of local fishing spots
Report Check-InGreat location, the best I've found in this state so far! slight sound from gunfire in distance but very respectful. I did pick up 3 entire trash bags full when I arrived - looks to be from a party last night
Report Check-InNice spot for a night or several. Quiet around the lake, and the designated spaces are spread out. 3 days or less, no permit needed according to the website.
Report Check-Inbeautiful spot! we stayed here 6 days in our 24 ft rv with no issues.
in this whole area there's about 4 spots we saw you can park. we picked the one right next to the lake and loved it.
our 3rd day here, a very nice cop came and gave us a permit to stay longer! but we saw quite a few people come and go without one.
pros: great offgrid beautiful spot in the woods. lots of spots here if you're willing to look. quiet at night and nobody bothered us.
cons: locals use this as their backyard mostly. some locals came to talk to us but were nice. just note this isn't a national park or state park, but more like the towns hiking/shooting park.
overall we loved it!

Report Check-InGood night here. Arrived a little before dark and had a few cars pass on their way out of the area, but otherwise quiet.
Decent Verizon 4G signal.
Report Check-Inpics didn't post by earlier and I also didn't think the first post went through either.
Report Check-Inthe first pull off had a parking area for 3 cars. that area is an obvious no party area. the garbage is unbearable. 3 fire rings in this immediate area. we went to the next pull off and found 2 rings. 1 in the grass and the one we chose was on a hill lake front and hade a big ring and boulders perfect as tables. it was hot and muggy but we kept the bugs at Bay.
Report Check-Insaw 3-4 fire rings by the first parking spot. 1 by the lake front. we parked at the next pull off. 2 more rings. 1 in the grass and one up high with a big ring an lots of rocks. perfect for tables. also lake front
