Nice park although it's quite small and limited. Campsite was great - hot water, free wifi at the office (a bit hit and miss). Would happily pay to stay though it's all free.

Report Check-In

large campground next to the ranger station, we saw only 1 lamp post with 2 electricity outlets in the middle of the lawn, you need a long cable. Clean toilets even with paper at the ladies bathroom, hot showers. Lots of barbecue places and trees for shade. Nice rangers, who even knew the the latin names of the species we saw! Lots of birds including woodpeckers, ibis, parrots, curassows, wood rails, different jays and tyrants. But most of them near the campground! and mosquitos. Lots of them, even mid-June.
The 2 northern lagunas are completely dry and overgrown, the big one south is only reachable via the south eastern access from outside because the road inside the park is inaccessible. All other roads inside the park in good condition , doable with 2WD or even bicycle. Stayed two nights, very peaceful and relaxing.

Report Check-In

What a magical place. In the midst of nature we spent three nights here and observed many different species of birds and also howler monkeys. The place is very clean and free of charge. The trails in the park are well maintained, but short.

Rosmarie&Peter
Seems to be a beautiful national park. We have seen birds, went on a short hike but myriade of mosquitos nearly ate us alive. So the next morning regrettably we escaped.

Report Check-In

Nice camping with clean bathrooms and hot water. No power or drive in sites for truck/van so just camped jn parking area adjacent to campground which was fine. Very friendly ranger. Lots of birdlife in camping area and could hear growler monkeys in morning. Free!

Report Check-In

still as previously reported. Peaceful but hot and dusty. very clean Banos. bring your own paper.

Report Check-In

Amazing place to spend the night. Many trekkings available, hot free showers! (Couldn’t believe it), parrillas for bbq, rangers really friendly. Totally recommend ♥️

Report Check-In

As described before. We’re only campers to stay a night. The park rangers take care of us, Manuel(one of rangers) escorts us to the mirador of L.Panza de Cabra for safety reason. There are basins for washing dishes outside of toilets. Personal(mobile chip) 4G is working here. It is cloudy when we’re here, it’s mystic!

Report Check-In

As comments below, nice camping, hot shower, few people, lots of birds, monkey nearby, mosquitos and mosquitos again.
At this time only the north part of the Park is open, it takes time to dry after rainy season

Report Check-In

Great camping with very relaxed atmosphere. Very clean showers and toilets, friendly guards, nice trails and all that for free. Wifi did not work, but 4g signal sometimes. There is a Tucan, which comes very close, many other birds and many loud monkeys.

Report Check-In

No height limitation, second bridge says 20t weight limit, so the first one must be the same...
Lots of bugs only on the trails, few in the parking and camping at this time of year; we were the only ones there. Very good showers with immediate hot water, which is highly chlorinated.

Report Check-In

Parque Chaco offers various hikings from 2 km to 20 km in the rainforests, with nice miradors. They are not really spectacular, and they can be closed if there is to much rain. You can see many birds, and some monkeys, but most of all billions of mosquitos so brace yourselves...
The campground is totally free, with hot showers, clean toilets, water, electricity, WiFi, many barbecue and picnic tables. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. We stayed in May and we had the campground for ourselves. We spent 3 quiet nights and day, enjoying the nature, the sun and the silence.

Report Check-In

Very nice place with bbq and table. The wifi is private and phone connexion very weak. It worth to leave the main road to have a night here compare to a ypf! Shower clean with hot water at least for man.

Report Check-In

They have removed the upper beam of the main gate, so we were able to access the campground with our 3,8m heigh rig!
Very nice and clean campground! With very nice clean hot showers as well

Report Check-In

Nice campground. Very kind rangers. Best shower in Argentina so far. Clean bathroom. WiFi available around visitorcenter. Power for rigs or campervan, only with long extention cord. Though.....oppositie of visitorcenter

Update: the park is open and the bridge over rio negro is rebuilt. Nice campground. Showers were cold. Wifi is working near park office. At this time of year only one hike is open.

Report Check-In

The park is temporarily closed as they are rebuilding the bridge across the Rio Negro. I expect it will be open again by March 2018?

Report Check-In

Our rig 3,3 meters was too big to get through main gate but we parked just outside which was still within the forrest shade of the camp grounds and just at the entrance to one of their trails which we explored on our bikes and managed to see a capybara before it darted off into the bushes. Morning and evening mosquitos are rampant so do take care!!! We wore pants, long sleeve with hood and boots and still got bitten through all the clothes!! During the midday scorching sun however you can get by in shorts. The shower facilities were very clean. The staff were friendly. We didn't use the camp ground but it all looked very well maintained. We spent 24 hours here and it made our drive through the barren Chaco much more pressure able and memorable, worth the stop.

Report Check-In

the entrance has maximum height of 3.10m - walk 300m to the visitor center they will put away the 2.6m barrier. Water at restrooms and outside is NOT potable!!
At the visitor center exists an cooling device with an 20 liter bottle.

Report Check-In

Nice place, but don't forget your repellent against mosquitos.

Report Check-In

The showers do have hot water most time of the day, very hot!! one of the best campingspots so far, for free ! Although the campground is big enough, no big rigs possible, because the maximum height allowed at the entrance is only 2,60 meter (it's written on a sign). But i can amagine a bit higher is not a problem, they didn't check ours and the entrancesign is higher than 3 meters. About the electricity: you need a 25 meter cable because the parkingarea is quite far away from the electraspots. There are 2 plugs.

Report Check-In
