Very quiet place to camp. There are bathrooms for 5 pesos, free tables, games for children and palapa. Super quiet and safe. Here you can leave the motor home and go down some steps directly into the center of the city.

Lugar sumamente tranquilo para acampar. Hay baños por 5 pesos, mesas gratis, juegos para niños y palapa. Super tranquilo y seguro. Aca podes dejar el motorhome y bajando unas escalinatas estas directamente en el centro de la ciudad.

stay here 1 night very good, safe and quiet. the second night the poliman Come at 11pm, We had to leave because we have no right to sleep in this parking lot. No sign indicates it.
Report Check-InGreat place to stay the night. It is patrolled by police and there are cameras as well.
Our Skoolie short bus was spotted by the cameras and police arrived shortly after to make sure we were not dumping our tanks. This has obviously been a problem in the past (gross don’t do it). After talking a bit they were satisfied and left us to our peaceful night sleep.

Arrived at 5:30pm and around 9:30 a police officer told us to go because it was not safe there and that we should go to an indoor parking downtown instead
Report Check-InPerfect spot to stay in San Cristobal for free! Busy with people doing exercise throughout the day, but was very quiet at night and had absolutely no problems. Only 10 min walk down the stairs and you are in the middle of the Centro Historico. 35p taxi to get back to the top of you are not up for the hike. Great spot!!
