Something not right?

Description

Stanislaw Boondock was flooded on road in so we carried on down the road. Pulled in with our truck and camper and literally have a stream view out both sides of camper. Fire pit, room for three similar rigs. A little clearance is good but not essential. More spots a little further down the road with easy access. Room for so many people. 10/10 campsite.

Latest Check-Ins

Perfect spot near Yosemite. Lots of bugs. Lots of people too, very respectful. No signal.

Report Check-In

very quiet, calm and close to Yosemite west entrance. arrived at 7pm, already 3 others cars but had no problem finding a small private spot for our van. lots of mosquitos

Report Check-In

Stayed two nights and was the only one here. Great spot with lots of forest to explore. Not sure it's safe to filter and drink the water here, signs at Yosemite says there is still a dangerous algae bloom.

Report Check-In

Great flat spot off the road could fit two SUV's, nice stream running right next to site.

Report Check-In

Nice little area with a handful of spots. None of them are perfectly flat but it's not too bad. There is another area with a few spots a few feet up the road. Stayed two nights, but nights there was one other rig here and a few up the road. Given the proximity to the park, I was expecting it to be more crowded. 40min drive into the valley.

Report Check-In

Nice site. Not a lot perfectly flat areas for vans/RVs so get there early for a good spot. This is a great one for those going in to YV - 45min drive in/out.

Report Check-In

Lots of spot to sleep in the national forest at 5 minutes of the yosemite park entrance. A little at this exact spot.

Report Check-In

Really cool spot by a creek (mosquitoes alert!). Room for a couple of campervans. No AT&T service. I spent two nights there and wasn’t bothered at all and felt safe. Please keep it clean! A couple of makeshift fire pits but please refrain from making a fire!

Report Check-In

We arrived after 10pm and the place was super crowded. More spots down the road.

Report Check-In

Great spot. Why bother with camping in Yosemite.

Report Check-In

Great peaceful spot after the chaos of the national park. Very easy access. We were in the first of about 5 spots within 100 meters. Had the place to ourselves. Still quite a bit of snow lying around this time of year. No ATT signal.

Report Check-In

Easy to find- no Verizon cell service. Only one other camper there when I arrived late. Had a weird car drive by and honk for like a minute straight but other than that it was undisturbed and peaceful. Lots of spots. Would definitely stay here again!

Report Check-In

Stayed down road a bit. lots of campers came in after dark, so popular on weekends. Nice and quiet. No cel service unless you go to top of hill.

Report Check-In

Fantastic! Surrounded by sequoias and a short ride from Yosemite. All the info above was correct.

Report Check-In

I pulled in late so most spots were taken but I parked next to road and it was flat. Not too many cars passing.

Report Check-In

Great spot. Went down the dirt road a bit and found a more secluded site. Plenty of space. Nice and shaded along the creek — not a lot of water currently. Lots of bugs but not unbearable, bring some bug spray. Overall, highly recommend.

Report Check-In

This was the perfect spot to sleep to get close access to Yosemite valley entrance! There are about 7 or so spots and it was quiet and spaced out. We stayed three nights and always got into the park quickly! It’s very buggy so we used it just to sleep and cooked all our meals in the park. Overall, a score of a place to find!

Report Check-In

Nice peaceful spot, just have to tune out the screaming mosquitos.

Report Check-In

Still very good place. Quiet. Just some water but not very clean in the little river. Shade. Easy accès. Mostly leveled. Every nights around 8 cars. Others spots along the little road. Clean.

Report Check-In

Perfect spot! Expect lots of neighbors by nighttime as a lot of people camp here after climbing in Yosemite. People were happy to say hello and share the spaces. Probably the closest you can get to the NP without paying.

Report Check-In

Great spot! Stayed for 3 nights here in a tent, no one touched our stuff while we were out and about. BUG SPRAY is a must. Lots of mosquitoes. Not super quiet because there was lots of van traffic looking for places to sleep along the road, but nice open site!

Report Check-In

Jason and Jessica and the boys and Honey. Great nights! Wonderful spot

Report Check-In

Great spot next to a creek right off the road. Nice and wooded so plenty of shade. Plenty of space for multiple vehicles of various sizes.

Report Check-In

we stayed here for 2 nights and it was great! follow the map, and then when you see the second or so real campsite you can take a right into the site and then a quick left to drive down a dirt road to more sites. part of the road was flooded but even with only a few “real” sites available, multiple cars and vans fit around with good enough space. really beautiful space! no cell service but it’s right off the highway and near a hotel/cabin place so if you need something it’s right there. 30 mins or so from yosemite, straight easy drive!

Report Check-In

Great spot next to Rush Creek. 5 minute drive to Yosemite NP gate and 30 minute to the valley. Stayed two nights during the weekday and was empty. Friday night a lot more campers around.

Report Check-In

Quiet and chill spot to camp. There’s two openings actually and we stayed at the location to the right of this pinned location. It had a closer access to the creek. Fairly clean so bravo fellow campers!

About 4 mins to entrance to Yosemite. No att reception. Decent paved road to the site. The camp itself was level, not too many knots in the ground.

Absolutely loved the creek soundtrack at night!

Report Check-In

Lot of spaces. Near the river so mosquitos. Under the trees. Free. No amenities. Good road.

Report Check-In

Beautiful spot! Stayed here for 3 nights and washed off in the creek as well. It is pretty buggy so make sure to have bug spray. Would not recommend coming in with a car that is low to the ground as you might scrape the bottom of the car on the protruding roots.

Report Check-In

clean, quiet, and close to the park. great find!

no fires or grills allowed, gas stoves ok with a permit (free online or at USFS stations)

Report Check-In

This place is unreal. little tiny stream for water and there are 7 cars with tents camped here tonight. there is tons of room so dont worry about it filling up. couple small firepits.
