Guatemala
The view is insane, but tent camping is on uneven ground between the cabins. Ok for small tents, but difficult for larger tents, and there is nowhere to setup a cooking area. Outside food and drinks are not allowed in the common area. It's cheapest to stay in a cabin and cook on the patio, however the food at the restaurant is quite good and not too spendy. Reportedly they are building more accommodation.

DO NOT TRY TO DRIVE UP HERE! The last bit of the road is incredibly steep and we almost went off the side when our van couldn’t make it up there. Bonkers.
Report Check-InIs a party spot, night life xxx, not for camper cars, no camping allowed, no kids, probably just dollars an euros they want....
Report Check-InNO CHILDREN- NO DOGS- NO PARKING FOR CAMPER OR RV. This response came after an inquiry on 10/20/17
Report Check-Inleft the rig in Cobán and came to stay here. not very friendly staff, everything is over priced, not very good food. not a great experience - we left and went to the Oasis the next day and had a much better time.
not sure the cost for camping, but I'm sure it has gone up
Wanted 50 per person to park in unattractive car park. Nice looking restaurant/bar. Beautiful views. They said next cheapest accom was 90 pp in shared room.
Report Check-InBeautifully located Backpacker Lodge with many young Travelodge learning.
30QZ/Person with great showers (kalt!) & WC. 50QZ for a Cabaña with public toilet / bathroom.
Access not for large vehicles or trucks as the road is quite narrow and you can only turn bad at the end.
It also has very little place to sleep and we slept on precious little, not really beautiful gravel place. Evening is a lot going on in the occupied zone and you can eat well, or even just a drink. in the lounge no picnic is allowed.
At night, it had some music from the neighboring, but from 22 o'clock in the Zephyr Lodge night's sleep.
All in all a nice resort for the price and the outlook is the hammer. It is recommended that if you have nothing against young backpacking tourists.

Report Check-InZephyr is a party place. It has a young clientel, and seems to be operated by temporarily employed backpackers. We were allowed to park in their drive way. Not really a parking area, but should fit two or three small campers. There is a restaurant and a bar, and everything goes on a bill that is paid when you leave. It was a little chaotic. Happyhour every day between 6 and 8. However, we had a fun couple of days, and the location is close to perfect!
Price: 50 quetzales
