Something not right?

Description

$16 pn, dump station and water. No hookups but plenty of sites. Would recommend to book as there were only two sites left when we arrived late afternoon on a Friday. Absolutely stunning forest area on the river. Very well kept sites. Lots of walking trails around

Latest Check-Ins

As noted in the previous post, free but all the loops are closed. We stayed in the big parking lot no issues, if with a tent you can camp closer to the lake

Report Check-In

Free, but all the loops are closed. You can park in the main big parking lot. Some nice tent sites too. One pit toilet is open.

Report Check-In

Closed early for the season so is now free but with no services. Just a first come first serve basis and then sign in on the sheet at the info desk.

Free Dump Station and potable water. Easy in and out

Report Check-In

Great campsite close to lake. Stayed for two nights.

great campground in a mossy forest right on diablo lake with trail access. very crowded now, we were lucky to find an open site when we pulled in around 5 p.m. so yes, if you have cell service and you know when you're going to be here, would recommend you make a reservation beforehand. especially if you want a site next to the water.

This campground is in the deep forest but with lake access and good hiking trails right from m camp. There is no cell service and you can hear the highway a bit. Be aware that most sites are on the small side.

We really liked this campground. it was after season, so it was free and first come first serve. it's a massive campground, but only about 20 or so sites were open. it's quite dark in the trees, and I slept like a log. the lake behind is pretty and the water level changes dramatically, like a tide, because of the dam. the thunder creek trail behind it was beautiful. you can walk about a mile and a half to a bridge and the water was a beautiful pale blue color because of glacial melt.
