Campsites are nice enough but the campground is quite close to the freeway and train tracks, so there’s a good amount of noise all the time. Great views from the Vista Point.
Report Check-Inbig campground just off the Interstate 5, meaning it's really loud. if you can ignore the noise, it's a beautiful campground. $25 in 2023, walk in possible if you don't have a reservation. showers but no dump station. some loops are pretty narrow, if you have a trailer or a big rig, ask the ranger at the entrance where to go, otherwise your turn-around will be a PITA.
Report Check-InReally nice. Not over crowded. We can hear the I-5 freeway and we heard a train but my husband likes that there is a trail to the Sacramento River for fishing! Just an overnight before we leave the forest.
