Lot of free spots when we were there, only few sites with privacy, bit road noise, some mosquitos. If Wolf Creek CG is occupied, this is an alternative.
Report Check-InAs described, big camping ground. No running water. Access to the lake and nice walks around. Some spots do have lake views.
Report Check-InNice campground!! Just south of Whitehorse. Quite a few spaces. Some spots are doubled up so if it is full you’ll have a close neighbor. If it’s not then you’ll have plenty of space! Wood provided as usual at provincial campgrounds and decent pit toilets. 20CAD a night. Nice place to get off the road and relax if you’re traveling the Alaska Highway. Would definitely come through again.
Report Check-InYour typical provincial campground. Clean and well taken care of. But man, the mosquitoes were atrocious. We could not step outside the camper.
Report Check-InMosquitos the size of humming birds. They will swarm every living thing they can and bite any skin possible. Plenty of empty sites. We just did a quick layover there. Didn’t get outside the camper much because of the bugs. Pit toilets were closed for Covid
Report Check-In$12cad per site/ per night. Day use area currently closed due to flooding but will re-open.
Report Check-InPretty standard Yukon government campground. Sites aren't very private and some are near the highway, but overall a decent place as with all of the government campgrounds here. Free fire wood. Clean outhouse toilets.
