4 campsites at the end of a well maintained dirt road. I can hear a stream, water running.
Unfortunately there is a lot of trash in the fire pits. It's a quiet area.
Nice place to chill. Nice trail to walk. My fire pit was full of trash but otherwise no complaints.
Report Check-InGreat camp site. As stated there is four sites. Saw few hikers come and go, one old timer who came and fished almost daily, otherwise we had the place to ourselves.
Report Check-InQuiet row of a few established campsites. The lake loop trail is very nice and you can fish. Gravel road to get to the site but well managed. We went with no problem in a 28 foot skokie.
Report Check-InI just wanted to correct. This is not a wild camp, but an established campground of the General Watkins Conservation Area. There is no WiFi. But the place is beautiful and quiet. With firerings and Grills.
Report Check-InBeautiful place but did not stay. There was a run down trailer with tarps on the roof, garbage piled up the front door and someone working on a run down truck.
Report Check-InLittle gravel parking lot at a trail head with campsites. Came after dark, left at dawn. There were two vans parked there as well.
