The museum and the water park are owned by separate companies we were told. only the museum allows overnight RV parking with the purchase of one museum entrance. The water park told me that they do not allow overnight RV parking in their lot.

We had stayed here a few times in the past for free but upon arrival after closing we saw no camping signs without permission. We could not get permission as they were closed. We found an off street spot for the night and returned the next day. We spoke to the person at the front desk and was told they had been Harvest hosts but dropped it recently and that is was the price of one admission to stay one night. $22 for regular and $18 for seniors. We told her we had arrived after hours so didn’t stay. She said it would have been fine. I would definitely advise calling ahead if you want to stay as it could change again just as quickly. A very safe spot and worth the price of admission!

Stayed at Olde Stone Village RV park next door for full hookup and museum was incredible! For $40 you can take a tour of and sit in the cockpit of the Hughes Flying Boat which is very cool.

This place was rad. Camped next to some airplanes in the parking lot. We arrived when the museum was about to close so the had us pay $30 to park in the parking lot and included admission to the museum for the next day. Museum opens at 9 so we woke up and walked over to see the Spruce Goose! There’s also lots of open land around the parking lot with woods and vineyards which made for a nice morning walk with the dog. And a really cool rocket ship playground for our kid!

Awesome spot for the night. Huge parking lot behind the museum. The parking lot is surround by trees and nature so it’s pretty quite and nice to wake up in. There are airplanes on display outside which was cool.

Not free, overnight parking costs $35 The signs day to register at the admissions counter and they said the price had recently gone up to $35. It's not worth it to me, so i didn't stay. but at $10 the museum was totally worth visiting.

Everything was as stated, very cool place to stay for a night. Area is very dog friendly although they aren't allowed inside unless its a service animal but the surrounding property was great for them to run around.
Bonus: check the western end of the parking lot and you'll find a HUGE amount of blackberries growing, we filled up 2 tupperware containers full and are planning on eating them with some ice cream at the country store just down the road.

We’ve been fulltimers for a year and this has got to be the coolest boondocking site this tech geek has ever seen! We arrived late at night; there is no gate.

You pass the museum buildings on the highway - fully glass-fronted hangars showing off their contents, including the world’s largest airplane! (2nd longest, and 2nd widest wingspan).

If that weren’t enough, a large freighter 747 is parked on top of the waterpark hangar. Everything is lit up at night - the outside views from the front are fantastic!

Enter by driving down a (simulated) runway, then to the parking lot behind the museum where they have a few pieces from their collections parked out in the open to see. It’s Sunday night in late October and 10 other boondockers are here, but there’s easily space for 200. Quiet at night, the parking lot does have some bright lighting around the edges, but the center is plenty dark for us.

Can’t wait to see the museum in the morning!

Was told they didn’t allow overnight anymore but that was bad info. Fantastic museum and quiet at night. No bathrooms after 5 pm. Large Boy Scout park and a museums worth of static displays outside make this great
