Great place with wonderful view of the waterfalls!
Very friendly lady, opened up a room for us to use shower and toilett. From the bar you have a marvelous view on the falls - enjoy your drink here.

Very nice place to stay. They have hot showers, wifi, a pool and an AMAZING view on the falls.

Camping is 15.000.

The lady manager is very welcoming and friendly. She speaks ENGLISH.

There is an even more beautiful view point a 5 minutes walk away from the hotel.

This is an amazing place as said in the comments before. But, price for camping on the parking or even on the grass has changed to 15000 kw. besides the entrance fee of 1000 kw. for a car and 500 kw. pp. For us still really worth it.

Just wanted to highly recommend going here and keeping this place alive. The owner is the kindest person trying to fulfill everything you ask for. We stayed on the green lawn downstairs. A wow!
No kids begging! It's definitely worth the money.

What a view!
They will let you pitch your tent very next to the swimming pool or park your car on the parking for KZ10,000. The owner is the nicest person ever!
You can use the fantastic lookout over the falls for a picnic, swim in the large pool to cool down after a walk down to the bottom of falls or, closer, to the natural pools.
You will be allowed to use 2 bathrooms (to be improved, check out pic #3).
4G signal OK (they do also share wi-fi)and running water available for your dishes/ laundry.
On the top of that, waking up in the morning facing the falls is priceless.
In a nutshell, fantastic place where you can also meet very cool overlanders and spend a remarkable evening / night. Not to be missed!!!

Beautiful place! The place to camp is nothing special, but the view is amazing. There’s a little track on the right side of the hotel. Walk up the track for 5 minutes and take a left turn, there’s a stunning viewpoint!

Lovely stay here. Staff was very welcoming, 10,000 Kwanza to camp in the empty parking lot, set up our chairs on the lawn with the view and use toilet building with hot shower. They even conneclted a hose for us to fill up our potable water tank. We enjoyed evening and morning views of the falls to ourselves. We did not eat in the restaurant.

We were allowed to camp here for 10,000 per camp. The view is magnificent. Food in restaurant was very expensive. 10k for a plate or 25k for the buffet (though first option suddenly disappeared so it was only option of the buffet). We cooked ourselves and loved our stay here. Toilet and shower facilities with hot water very good given the price. Highly recommended!

Strange experience for us. We parked on the parking lot of the hotel and asked the guy at the reception if we could have a look at the waterfall from here. So friendly, he said "no problem at all", and showed us the way of the terrace where the view is just spectacular. We asked after if we could eat on our truck. "No problem, you can take as much time as you want." Great. After eating, we got out for a cigarette and a random dude showed up, an AK47 hanging on his shoulder. He seemed drunk and started to ask us money quite agressivly. 2000 KZ. We said ok, thats the price on IOverlander, but we would give it to the hotel not you. So we went to see our friend at the reception, had a quick chat with him (only portugese but google translate helped a lot), and he just told us to leave without paying anything, it was ok. So we understood this drunk guy is the guide/escort if you want to take the path how leads to the bottom of the waterfall. No way we were going anywhere with that guy, and the viewpoint from the hotel was already stunning. We were ready to leave a bit of money to the hotel, its normal, but in the confusion of the moment, we just left with a lot of "muito obrigad" and waving. That guy at the reception was very sweet. Too bad that they let drunk armed dudes hanging out in their property.

Gorgeous site anyway. We came here to avoid the hassle in the otherside (we think its the best angle to see the falls anyway). Some people say kids how ask for money are cute. That is definetly not our opinion.

Last 15 km before the hotel are screwed up. Lot of potholes. Worth it.

1000kz pp to enter. You can enjoy the natural pools at 5 minutes walking from the hotel (easy to find alone), you can enjoy the view, you can go down from the hotel walking to enjoy the river or go with your 4x4 to eat your picnic.
10000kz to camp in the parking lot with your car, without view. Or the same price with a ground tent in a grassy place with the view. Toilets and cold shower on the parking. Swimming pool only for the hotel customers :-(
Overpricy, we didnt sleep here.

Fabolous place. Camping at parking place 10000 kwanza. 20 euro (2 people & camping car). Decent shower and toilet available. Also electricity. As there were nobody hosted at the hotel they let us swim at the pool. Great!

Entering the site: 1000 kw per vehicle + 500 kw per person. Very bumpy and unconfortable tarmac road until here.

Price for camping is now kz 10000, very pricey. But there doesn’t seem to be any options in the area. The place has amazing views of the fall, especially from the bar. Cuca is kz1000 and the two course dinner was 15000. You camp in front of the Pousada and it’s very wet. Either from rain or from the falls

Report Check-In

This place has the most beautiful views of the Calandula Falls. The other viewpoint is free but the view is not as this one. The entrance to this place is 1000 Kwanzas for the car and 250 per person. You can drive with your car at the bottom of the falls and walk around there. Be careful sometimes is slippery and muddy but is worth it!!!!
Also from the Pousada, you could go to the natural pools at the edge of the waterfalls and have very good views!

Paid entry at gate and was told that the Hotel is closed (off season?). While I was taking pictures the guards tried to rush me out and telling me that the site is closed to tourists and the police will come...
