Coming from north make a left turn on the little gravel road right after the last bridge (GPS lock didn't work, so the coordinates are not exactly!).
After 100m a very beautyful campspot under a bridge beside a lake/ creek.
Flat gravel ground perfectly sheltered against wind from south and west.
Almost invisible from the mainroad, nice privacy.
Some sheep at the opposite site and many birds and ducks (nice accustic, if you ignore the noise of passing trucks!). If You are lucky, you even can see some flamingoes.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
In February this spot has a few small ponds with tons of ducks, other small finches, a small flock of flamingos, and sheep grazing. It’s a surprisingly pastoral scene from under a highway bridge! Haha. The trucks are definitely not quiet, but they are few in the night, and some earplugs made for a good night sleep. Probably one time where a strong wind would have been welcome to drown out a little vehicle noise.
Report Check-InTravelling by bicycle northbound towards Comandante Luis. Competently featureless landscape with unrelenting winds. One of the only suitable places to pitch a tent between Rio Gallegos and Cmdt Luis. Sheltered from the wind out of sight of the road. Water available, would recommend filtering. No cellular service.
Report Check-InComing from the north, the turnoff is left after the second bridge, from the south after the first bridge on the right. We had a lot of wind under the bridge but we’re able to cook outside around the corner without issues.
Report Check-InMissed the path at first, you habe to drive really slow. Beautiful Place! Parked a bit at the side, under the bridge the wind hits you straight. On each side of the road a little lake with lots of different birds, including around 20 Flamingos!
In the morning welcomed by some sheeps. Very quite during the night, in the morning only few cars passing.
Just respect the beautiful environment, be quite and keep it clean.
Lindo lugar! Tivemos que fazer um retorno para achar o acesso. Fizemos um lanche na Kombi e depois seguimos viagem. Da pra passar a noite tranquilo.

Beautiful spot. We just stop to prepare something to eat. Didn't spent the night, but is totally possible.
Absolutely a great find! Under the bridge was too windy but at the end of the ramp was OK. No traffic at night, clear sky (stars!). In the morning flamingos in our front yard! Does not happen every day
Missed the turn, but made an easy u-turn 100m further down the road. Easy access after this!
Thanks for sharing!
Coordinates are fine but the dirt road comes up suddenly so go slow. Nice place for the night, completely hidden from the road if you go directly under the bridge. Only protected from wind on certain sides so was quite windy for our rooftop tent. Lots of ducks around and flamingos!
