There is no overnight parking at the Lighthouse, but there are spots along the road (on the side) for vehicles to park for the night by the shore... sunset and sunrise on the water, beautiful. We spent the night with no problems. **Keep an eye on the wind forecast, the bridge to get here is tall and gets cross winds. Big rigs could get here, but be cautious as the roads are narrow and old (I think the Lighthouse at the end of the road is the only good turn around spot.)

Report Check-InAwesome little pull out on the side of the road next to a GORGEOUS sandy beach! Great fishing and sunset 🤩
Report Check-InNo overnight parking at the lighthouse, but this is a nice pullout right by the water . Stayed here one night, there were two other campers, but we still had plenty of space. Can get really windy!!! would recommend!
Report Check-InNice spot on front of a church across the street from waterfront. Amazing view of Sunset, Sunrise ans stars at Night.
Report Check-Instayed the night on a spot by the road before the lighthouse. parking by the lighthouse has no camping signs. dirt road after lighthouse is very sandy and a lot of locals go in and out. was quiet after 10pm. foghorn is hearable from time to time.
Report Check-InI loved this spot. There were two signs saying “no overnight camping “, one in the parking lot and one at the end of the road that’s to the right of the lighthouse. I decided to take the dirt road at the end of that road along the beach for a few minutes and parked very close to the beach. There were no signs where I was so I’m pretty sure I was good. Either way, no one bothered me but I was also way out of season (in early November). Had a great night though. Thanks for the tip!
Report Check-InA lot of people in the comments seem to be referring to the dirt road PAST the lighthouse (I did see people camping there). This GPS location though is actually referring to a few gravel pullouts on the left of the road TO the lighthouse. These are quite reasonable spots as well although you're really on the side of the road (road is not busy). The beach is amazing for walking, you can walk all the way to the lighthouse. I preferred staying here to not push the "no camping" rules.
Report Check-InA great spot before arriving at the lighthouse is the bird watching sanctuary parking. Quiet at night.
Report Check-InAlthough original post said no parking at lighthouse lot, I saw no signs and there was no one to ask. There was space for my van down the dirt road to the right of the lighthouse, but another van was there and I didn’t want to crowd them, so I stayed in the lighthouse parking lot. No one bothered me. Restrooms closed while no staff there, it seems. Awesome views here.
Report Check-InGorgeous views, but the hornets were a bit vicious. If you go, bring one of those tennis racket bug zapper things; worked really well.
Report Check-InPretty spot by the water. Locals were there fishing on the beach and some folks like us staying for the night. We parked at the lighthouse and walked down the road first to make sure we could get in and out. No problems but the road was a tad bumpy and uneven. Lots of misquotes. Wonderful place to sit and watch the stars and the misquotes seemed to die down because of the stiff breeze.
Report Check-InWe stayed 2 nights, beautiful spot, drive past the lighthouse to find spots to camp. Lots of people came to fish so that was entertaining. Can use the washrooms at the lighthouse between 9am and 6pm.
Report Check-InExcellent spot, Friendly people, lots of fisherman catching striped bass...
Don’t get stuck in the sand ...
Report Check-InFabulous spot! Drive past the lighthouse, and you can find great spots right on the beach.
