A free site on public land on the beach at Dog Lake. Much nicer than the Silver Falls campground located nearby and it is free instead of $31.50CDN. May be soft sand. We backed in off the road with our large truck camper on a 4x4 dually. Water is clear and clean. Good beach for swimming. Some cottages nearby and are used to having people camp here. A nice breeze today so no bugs. We needed to use our cell phone booster to get cell service.

Love this place, quiet private beach near cottages. Some traffic on the road but pretty quiet. Nice sandy beach!
On reviendrait assurément.
such a good spot! We stayed two nights and it was very quiet and beautiful.
Report Check-InBeautiful view on this warm lake. Really comfortable for a tent since the beach is sand. Magnificent for stargazing. Unfortunately it was really windy and full of mosquitoes when we went so it is best to bring bug spray and to make sure your tent is well in place. Heads up if you don’t have a 4x4 don’t go too far near the beach, we got a little stuck. No cell reception. Enjoy!
Report Check-InThis place is terrible, the road is really rough if you don’t have a truck or big van, the “beach” is more like a swamp. There was only reception on top of my car and it was a very long detour to get there, I do not recommend
Report Check-InWhat a gorgeous spot and wonderful view. Many thanks to the poster for such a beautiful spot, you are amazing people. The beach is perfect for a dip as it's shallow and heats up fast. You could fit a big rig here but check the ground first before you head in. There's enough space for a few campers here.
