Awesome spot down a dirt road overlooking Alcova Reservoir.
Doable with 2WD in dry conditions, definitely not doable for RVs or trailers bigger than a Jeep trailer.
Passes through 2 cattle gates, Verizon 4G

Really awesome spot. Got there with a 2WD Ford Edge but high clearence would have been a lot better. You have to open 2 gates to get there but once there you have a great view and no one came by when I stayed.
Report Check-InBEAUTIFUL VIEW!! I really enjoyed staying here even though the ground was not level, I did have really good AT&T and Verizon signal. I stayed about a week and saw a caravan drive by and another camper but no one stayed. My only complaint is having to go through those barbed wire gates. Also the road getting here was awful and I’m surprised my 2wd van was able to do it.
Report Check-InAmazing spot! Many different little roads you can follow, so there’s a ton of spots. You will have to go through two cattle gates to get to the water.
Report Check-InMost incredible view! High clearance required. You will need to remove the barb wire crossing sections of 2 fences. The level spot is just after the 2nd fence. There is a lot of Indian history here. Might encounter some Indian warrior ghosts overnight. 😉
Report Check-InAbsolutely beautiful spot. we continued past and took the trail all the way to the lake. gets a bit narrow in spots, so plan on pinstripes. past this point, 2 when drive high clearance is fine in good weather, but would not recommend it in bad weather part of the trail runs in a clay wash that could be a mess when wet. both at this spot and at the lake there are very few level spots if any
