From the main road, take the dirt road for about 5 minutes. When you get to the river that crosses the road, take a left and you can park just off the dirt road. There is a little stream (non potable but good for washing dishes). Plenty of fire wood. Only saw one car pass at night. Beautiful sunset. You can be seen from the main road but you are so far away that no one would care. Great spot.

A really nice and quiet place. A flat and sandy area right next to a little stream. The water looks clear, but should be rather be filtered for drinking. We only had one noisy motorcycle riding around at nighttime, otherwise it was calm.
Report Check-Inwe spend one, Night here, quiet&sure. . excellent to don't camp in tacna
Report Check-InAs described, great area to camp. Found a perfect spot with shade from big trees. Lots of green and a little spring for water. Very quiet. Managed to get a bit of reception (claro). Recommended! 🌵🌱🌿
Report Check-InWe also spent a night here, probably not exactly at the same spot but the area. It looked a bit different for us because of the dry season. It is a pretty area, totally quiet at night. In the morning we had a gentleman knock at the door just wanting to chat.
Road down has tight curves, no big rigs.
