Description

Nice big area by the Rock River. We camped literally 10 feet from the water. 3 other vehicles that we met on the road previously ended up camping with us. Tons of room, so we all had our private areas separated by scrubby trees. You can be seen from the road, but there are trees that give you decent privacy. Sheltered from the wind, which is rare for this area of the Dempster. Lots of moose droppings, so keep an eye out.

Latest Check-Ins

This spot has been out base camp for exploring the dempster highway. Camp is a nice spot, close to river and away enough from road. Fire wood is a bit damp but burns okay once going. Bear lockers available and a shelter. Clean toilets. Not too muddy. $20 Per night, good value for price.

Report Check-In

Mud hole by the river. Road construction resource zone. No view, enclosed feeling, better to stay at the nearby campground or go up to the other great sites... Didn't stay.

Report Check-In

As described, a pretty spot next to the river with plenty of room. Two other campers were there with us.
