This is a busy place. If you are a mtn biker you will love the direct trail access. If you are looking for solitude this is not the place. The rv area is like a parking lot. The tent area is grass but has a road running through it. The road is how eveyone accesses the trailhead and its busy with traffic all day long. There's also street lights at night that kinda kill the camping mood. It's very safe here. The bathrooms are nice. They have fire pits and picnic tables at the tent sites. Call ahead for a reservation because it's busy here and they probably fill up quickly
Report Check-InStayed there 3 nights in the tent zone with our Promaster. Ground is flatish, depends on the site you have. Hot showers. Laundry is 1,50$ a load and 1$ to dry. Access to many cross country mountain bike and hiking trails. Gets more crowded during the weekend do you may have to reserve in advance. It was about 22$ a night.
