Nice little campground with level pad, fire pit, picnic table for quiet night. Swam in the lake, filled up our water tank, easy stay close to Wind Cave NP

nice campground, not much shade. the best sites are 12 and 13 down by the water. a site is now $18 per night and you can only pay for them through recreation.gov. did not see a metal box for payment on site.

Report Check-InFriendly staff, nice big sites. Close to the water, pet friendly. Pit Toilets, good Verizon signal.(3 bars). Use your senior Travel America pass and get half off. Close to everything in town.
Report Check-InFantastic. Made reservations through the website $10/night per dry site. We stayed Thursday night/ Friday morning - got in after dark so woke up to a beautiful view. Very quiet & calm. Went swimming in the public access area just up the road. Super clear, perfect temp..could see my feet 5 feet down! No one was there until after noon.
Report Check-InThis is a really sweet camping spot. wonderfully maintained and beautiful. 2 spots are by the lake and the rest are on a small loop with red cliffs as a backdrop. Highly recommended. Plus... loads of places to visit nearby. (don't know why the app won't let me change the stars- it's a 4 because there's no shade and they allow generators. Ugh.
Report Check-InWe stopped to spend the night but it was closed as their season goes from May 15 - Sept 15. Looks like a nice campground. Camping fee $10 per night.
