Spot right next to popular park with great views of town, busy over thw weekend, some kids having a party Saturday night. Recommended on weekdays only.

We've stayed here multiple times and it's been great. The park is very busy during the day!! We will usually leave and come back after dark while picking new spots around the neighborhood if staying in the area for multiple days. And to note, we try to be as discreet as we can be!

Quiet, dark, and mostly level street in Hyde Park neighborhood of Boise. Very pleasant. Got in late after having dinner downtown. Now will walk the dog and grab some coffee at one of the nearby shops! No issues but also I was very discreet after arriving.

Have stayed here a few times sporadicly with no issues until this morning someone in a utility truck sped by and yelled “it’s time to get up!!” Very rudely. He did not stop to speak to us so it may not have been directed toward us but it did make me a feel a bit uncomfortable.

be sure to use the park restrooms before dusk, as they are on an automatic timer and lock shut till morning.

great overnight place, quiet park, park near the volleyball courts, or towards the edge of the park.

Good neighborhood with some dimlit streets. all free parking. stopped by the park but was a bit foot traffic heavy (even at midnight) and there was a dude walking around banging on drums so I went for neighborhood parking instead. seems harmless, would want to move spots if staying multiple nights

I actually parked a few blocks south on 12th and Brumback. This whole neighborhood, at least the part east of 13 and north of about Resseguie, seems to allow unrestricted overnight parking—no signs to the contrary. Some streets slope more dramatically than others towards the curb so you may drive around a bit looking for a flatter option. Overall a good night’s sleep, quiet and safe. And delicious options for meals on 13th street.

Gravel space beside the volleyball court in Camel's Back Park is good to go! Please don't ruin this spot for the next guys 😅. The location is killer, plus it's quiet and pretty.

Nice neighborhood in the north end of the city with lots of street parking. Felt quite safe. Quite a few expensive sprinter vans in the area both in driveways and on the streets. Check out nearby Hyde Park area, some cool stores, coffee shops, etc. We only spent one night in Boise as we were passing through, glad we stayed in this spot as it seems like a neat part of the city.

Nice place, cool park with a beautiful sunset from the hill.

Pay attention where you park, parking lot from the park doesn’t allow overnight parking. I parked across the street from the park.

Great place for the night! We just parked on the street/gravel side closest to the park on a Friday night without any issues. Got pretty busy once the sun came up, but managed to sleep in.

Stayed on the other side of the park parking lot on the main road for two nights with no issues. Very dog friendly and a nice steep hike up the hill. Good Verizon reception.

This is a laid back place and basically what the original author said of it is true. I would add a few other comments: Be nice to the locals and if you find a place to park, I think it would be a good idea to choose a side street and park
along a fenced property preferably with no lights on or activity nearby.

Good area for one night street camping, park has restrooms open daylight hours. Nice business district nearby along 13th st.
