Beautiful place next to the lake with Flamingos. Quite at night and friendly people who are visiting the beach a little further. We drove on the above road until the sands starts. So all cars can pass you on the below road and will not recognize you at night. Its a bumpy road but 2wd can do it early! Enjoy!

Slept a bit further at the sea shore hidden behind a dune. Were there at 15:00 and left at 10:00, all safe, wonderful place. University bus was parking at the lagoon but left, and a group of 4 motorbikes passed in the early morning but didn't stop. Scary reports of robberies further north. Can confirn towns do not look nice in the zones where the robberies are marked.

Quiet at night, busy during the day. Perfect for us as we felt safer on the coastal drive. Food and drink stalls available peak season. Camped for free. 2 wheel drive is fine. Very windy.

at saturday afternoon in high season this beach was crowded ;) around two vans the locals arranged tables and chairs for a bar/restaurant; temporary toilets and showers at the beach; some guys build a temporary plank bridge and cashed toll;
most people disappear at the evening, only some stay overnight in tents; quiet at night.

Sehr schöner ruhiger Platz um ein paar Tage an der schönen Lagune mit vielen Vögeln (auch Flamingos) zu verbringen. Tagsüber sonnig und warm mit kühlenden Wind. Nachts angenehme Abkühlung.

we stayed at the lagon for free. in the afternoon it was windy but calmed down at night. we enjoyd the place. the road from the highway to the lagon has a lot of potholes, so drive careful.
