Traditional Pamiri House homestay | Hostel

Lovely family run hostel. We paid 100 Somoni per night for parking our big rig (7m length, 3.55m high) in the courtyard.Space for 2-3 rigs. of course you can alo rent a room there. Hostel with a typical Pamiri living, praying and celebration room. We joined a birthday party of the landlady's grandson and were invited to a delicious plov. Great experience.

Very nice place to stay. They welcome us with our camper for free in their parking. They help us for the papers permit. They help our friends for mechanic problems. They are so helpful and nice. The place is peaceful and in the center. JUST PERFECT!!! 😘

We paid 200SOM per person - breakfast and dinner included. Laundry and shower was free to use. We had the family room upstairs which was really lovely. Bright and spacious with a very comfy bed. Sharofat speaks English and is incredibly kind and helpful. We learned so much from her. Highly recommend.

very Nice family are owning this guesthouse. they speak à good english and are situated near the bazar and à short distance from ovir if registry is needed.
price in 2024 is 200 somoni for the night, including breakfast.
they can provide different services, like laundry, etc...
they are very interesting when they speak about the specific culture of badakshan

Absolutely loved this place and it's a great base to explore Wakhan Valley and further afield. Great intro do Pamir culture and people and host is it ncredibly kind and helpful. I stayed here in 2 occassions and will definitely be back.

Super place to rest! A very friendly family, pretty location, tidy rooms. Washing machine, kitchen, shower, garden. Homemade breakfast and peace and a warm welcome. What else do traveller need?

Amazing place to stay and recover. We paid 15dollar per person per night including breakfast. But we got a lot of goddies on top, she is a great cook and offers a lot to taste. It's clean and nice, we loved to stay here.

super nice place to stay
We slept in our car inside the courtyard (there's space for 1-2 car), we could use toilet and showers and had dinner and breakfast. the owner is lovely and didn't want to charge us anything since we slept in the car, but we gave her 50 somoni pp. she speaks English. I added a photo with her number and email.

Good place to stay at in Khorog. A bit outside the city center. Lovely owner who speaks excellent English. Good dinner and breakfast. Shared hot shower and western toilet. All very clean. If you can choose take the room upstairs. Its very big with a nice view outside the windows.

3 adds: there is safe parking in the yard for motorbikes etc, you can use the laundry machine, it's on the main road and there is a good sign (on the coordinates maps lead us to the steep dirt track, you don't have to take that)

Great homestay. Very friendly family. They speak English. 150 Somoni pppn incl diner and breakfast. Nice garden with seats. Western toilet and hot shower. Beds a bit hard, but we used our airbeds. No problem.

Indeed a nice place and very very nice people! Sharofat made us feel at home and kept feeding us all the time. We were here twice. Absolutely recommended!

Best Homestay I've stayed in Tajikistan. The host will do anything to make your stay like home! True Pamir hospitality. She kept offering me tea and snacks while I was chilling. Loved the homemade jams in the breakfast time. private room is USD15. Or USD10 for roll out traditional mat in the big living room. Wifi is slow but works. Free laundry was the highlight. LOL
Highly recommend this Homestay!

Very lovely family with established guesthouse across from the river and walking distance to bazaar and downtown. Sharofat speaks good English and her skills speaks excellent English. $15 pp includes a private room, breakfast, dinner, laundry, use of kitchen, basically anything you want. They have a lovely garden with grass and many fruit trees and a great big raised lounging area to chill in the garden. Rooms are basic but comfy beds and linens/towels provided, hot shower with good pressure, western toilet, and super delicious food including amazing homemade jams. Lovely group of overland cyclists/drivers and backpackers. Definitely the best value for money in the area and such a lovely experience. Also Sharofat has an awesome collection of traditional Pamiri objects all around the house and garden which is nice. Ask for the upstairs room as it is huge. Secure parking inside for cars and bicycles.
