South of Markleeville, CA. Free camping. Stay for up to 14 days. Right off the road, some road noise. We went on Labor day weekend so lots of cars. Shade trees. Vault toilets. Creek nearby down an embankment. Prime camping spot down by the creek.
Report Check-InLarge, free space with plenty of room between other campers. Was only 3-4 groups there at any one time in my 3 days there (Sun-Tue). Nice trail down to E. Carson River. Bathrooms were clean, plenty of rock fire pits (need a burn permit). No cell service.
