Weren't able to get there... gate was closed.

Pretty great pull off! Spacious and open. Stayed for 1 night and it was very nice. LOTS of spots all up along this road on the way to the railway.

Report Check-In

We stayed for 3 nights in our campervan. You're allowed up to 14 days of camping. 5 fire rings available, quiet, clean and spacious area. Only one other camper during our stay, they stayed for one night. Great spot, no issues. ATT LTE one bar of service. Google Fi no service.
remember to pack-in, pack-out!

Report Check-In

Normal national forest dispersed camping site, this one has 3 fire rings and a sand/gravel area big enough to turn around a 40’ rv in. Please don’t leave anything here. Pack in pack out & pick up your casings!

Gate was closed, end of May. And don’t ask Google Maps for navigation.

Report Check-In

Busy spot, get there early if you want your pick. Various, very dispersed sites along a fairly quiet road. We ended up with a small site right on the road but decent enough with a fire pit. Only a couple cars drove by all night/morning.

Report Check-In

nice little spot... looks like a few spots with fire rings... easy safe area.

Report Check-In

Great camping spot! Arrived at 5pm on 7/2 (very rainy weekend) and found a nice spot with one perfect fire ring, there was one other free spot when we arrived but it was harder to get the car up close to the camping area so we chose this one. Other spots were taken by RVs/trailers but there is so much space between spots, we heard no noise and didn't see anyone. This spot was not too far from a little stream. It was clean and the ground was level, no flooding despite non stop rain.

Report Check-In

Gate was closed. Could not camp here. Bummer

Report Check-In

Closed for winter gated off no access in winter time

Report Check-In

As described. We came on a Sunday night and only saw one other couple come. We snagged one of the first nice sites there on the water.

Report Check-In

Numerous places to camp with small rig or tent along the road. Some river front. Very busy over weekend in summer. Original post is a huge spot suitable for any size. AT&T works most of the road.

Report Check-In

Great spot. Stayed overnight and left in the late morning. Plenty of room. Good place to let dogs explore a little

Report Check-In

Beautiful spot, multiple fire rings here as well as down the road. Signs at entrance state “no unauthorized vehicles” but there were plenty of cars, and the ranger we passed didn’t say anything to us. Careful of some deep sand just inside the entrance. Very quiet and not many mosquitoes or ticks that we could see. No cell service. Pack it in pack it out.

Report Check-In

Great place to stay... only 2.5 miles off the HWY but feels like much further. We took Jefferson Notch rd. to Mt WA cog railway, awesome drive (mabie 10 miles from camp spot) lot better than having to drive around on the highway. Passed a trail head at the top... I think it goes up Mt Jefferson.
