There are 2 parking lots. 1 belongs to Pioneer Park. We didnt stay there because its gated and a sign says closed by 11pm. There is another parking lot right beside (no gate, no signs about no overnight parking, but there is a bylaw sign saying boat trailers only). We stayed in our camper van for 1 night. Nobody bothered us. There is a railways very close but 1 train passed by 11pm another sometime in the morning which didnt make much noise. Close by there is a small brewery walking distance 14 mins. Washrooms and potable water in the pioneer park right beside this spot.
Parking possible on Front Street right beside Tennis Building and Old Cemetery that is a park! Use caution here as there’s been stolen property off vans here. Lock everything up.

Kamloops area - gravel lot, fairly quiet. 2 other campers but 4 in next lot
Report Check-InGood spot to stay for a night or two. Lots of noise from trains going past.
Report Check-InBig, dog friendly (off-leash) dog park and beach with clean toilets, picnic tables and paved walking trail along the river. We spent one night here in our sprinter undisturbed, however trains do pass by every now and then.
Report Check-InBetter than expected with ear plugs (trains)
Parked closer to tennis court, seamed more quiet. Ok for 1-2 nights
The train is a large beast making strange noises and rumbling my RV as it passes through the night.
Spent the night . Brought my bike inside and put my rack in the under storage just to be safe
Feel like I can chill here all day with no one bothering me. There is a sign that says “Only vehicles towing boats are allowed to park here”
Report Check-InLoud with the train but spent the night unbothered. Washrooms, water fountain and a very nice dog friendly beach 50 feet away.
Report Check-InWe camped there. A lot of people, the train is making noise, but at least you have toilet!
Report Check-InTables de picnic a disposition et accès à la rivière. Toilettes plutôt propres et fontaines à eau disponible. Nous avons été réveillé en pleine nuit par le train (3:30am...) mais sinon l'endroit est plutôt calme
Report Check-InIt’s a nice location just I decided to go on Front Street. More lit and quieter.
PLEASE NOTE: a young man did try and steal my stuff off my hitch. He got 100 feet with a heavy box of wood with an air compressor in it and that’s all. Found the box of wood on the bike trail spilt over. I don’t usually lock up my wood but luckily everything else was locked or he would have gotten it, was woken up to him shaking my van attempting to get the bike off. He did get the air compressor.
(Edit, I know who it was as he biked by me with my dog once we got out but I didn’t know it was him yet as I didn’t have know where the box was till after the encounter)
Report Check-Inbig space, sign that says for boat trailer only, but nobody came .
BTW, the train went by at 2am and you're right next to it ....
Stayed here one night. Lovely dog beach steps away from the parking lot. Last train passed by around 11pm and next day, around 7am. We saw security cars at the Pioneer Parking after 10pm, but they didn’t check this other lot. Clean washroom, potable water and nice park staff!
Report Check-InPerfect spot in town. We stay one night, other campers where there as well.
The security passed but didn't say anything.
There are washrooms, water station, a really nice lawn and a small beach.
A lot of dogs during the day but quiet at night (we didn't heard the train during the night).
Nice place for day use as it is closed for the night but possible to park on Front Street about 500 m from Pionner right beside Tennis Building, front of ancien cemetery
Report Check-InParked right by he Pionner Park. Big gravel parking lot for boat trailer. There was nobody else but me. Last night a Police was parked there and he said ok, better than the actual Park who sometimes close their gate at night. Nice beach and river at the Park along with a dog Park. It’s a well frequented Area but calm. Not too noisy for me. Did not hear trains. A Park worker pulled in at 8:30pm and asked e if I needed water because he was going to shut it off tor the night at the Park washroom. How nice ! He mentioned regular overnight RV here. Walking / bike trails too.
Report Check-InBig parking beside the lake!
Great spot, even if the railway is pretty loud at night!
Okay spot for 1 night. Still noisy at 11pm, a few cars have been through the carpark. Another camper here.
Report Check-InNous avons couché une nuit au fond du parking à droite. Sur le bord de la rivière et très proche d’un magnifique parc pour enfant avec jeu d’eau ! Magnifique. Un train est passé ce matin mais ça fait beau dans le décord.
Report Check-InWe stayed in the main parking lot as there were no signs that said no camping. It’s a nice park with a dog beach and bathrooms (they closed at 8ish). We didn’t have a good night though as the watering system started at about 2am and was pouring on our van (super loud!). If you decide to sleep here better stay on the left side of the parking, further away from the gras. Also there were a few trains running through which were very noisy too.
Report Check-InWe stayed in the main parking area; gates did not close, washrooms did, though, at around 8pm or so (I don't know when they re-open). We left early due to the noise which was going through the night and was really loud (train toot)
The spot is quite crowded until approx. 11 - mostly dog owners since this is a beach for dogs.
there is a water station outside which is always accessible.
There was one other camper van there.
Report Check-InGood sleep, had no problem. Better to park in a parking than the dirt road tho
Report Check-InThere are 2 parking lots. 1 belongs to Pioneer Park. We didnt stay there because its gated and a sign says closed by 11pm.
