Juan Carlos and Claudia are super kind and friendly!! They host travelers since 10 years ago! If you are in Cali don't hesitate about staying here. They saw our van in the street and invited us to their home, they offered us shower, laundry, wifi, even bikes to take a ride around the city!! and they are not interested in charge any money.The park in front is very nice, lot of bars and restaurants.

Juan y Claudia son super amables y buena onda! Reciben viajeros hace mas de 10 años. Vieron nuestra van en la calle y nos invitaron a su casa, nos ofrecieron ducha, lavadora, wifi, incluso bicis para pasear x la ciudad y no les interesa cobrar nada. Si estas en Cali no dudes en quedarte aca. El parque de enfrente es muy lindo, lleno de bars y restaurantes.

We were looking for a new cooking system and we went to the outdoor shop of Juan Carlos. In his shop we didn’t succeed, but Juan Carlos was super helpful and took us in his car to find a cooking system downtown. And with succes :). After that he let us use his shower and wifi. We parked in front of the store and had a save night. Noise was till 12-1 pm. His brother was super kind too. He showed us his house and gave us a lot of good information about restaurants nearby.

Great free place to stay in Cali. Juancho and Claudia are so cool! They made us feel like home immediately. We shared some meals and cooked together. He also recommended us many places to visit.
He set up a bed for us in the living room and we parked our van right accross the street which was great cause we could see it through his window. The park is noisy because of the traffic and the bars and restaurants but just until 12 or 1am.. Don't know during the weekend.
The climbing wall is really good. Take your harness!
As regards Cali itself.. Nothing more exciting than any other city. However, If you like dancing salsa, you'll find many great salseras from Wed to Sun.

Juan Carlos works in the “Extremo” shop, super friendly offered me to stay overnight in his place, just over the extremo shop. You can sleep in your car and he will offer you a priceless shower. He knows a lot about local climbing and he can give you good advice and planning local trips to the local areas. He has a climbing wall in his wall!!!!
