Definitely one to recommend. We came here at 2pm on a Tuesday and it was absolutely packed and for a reason. The empanadas are delicious. 4000 for 12 in Jan of 2024

excelentes empandas a día de hoy 100 pesos ( 0,25 US) la empanada con picante aparte, abierto de martes a domingos, muy amables y rico todo. RECOMENDADO.

the empenadas are still good but they are now 150 pesos for a dozen, nice place in full of locals

Locals restaurant. I had the Guisado de Lentejas (lentil stew). Not vegetarian, not on the menu but delicious. Ask if they have it or anything else not listed on the menu. You won’t be disappointed. We had empeñadas to go for supper (now 100 pesos for 12).

Still incredible value! Had the steak and chips. It didn’t open until 9pm, but was very popular.

We came here for lunch, the empanadas weren't ready yet, but the potatoes/cheese ball and the spinach cannelloni where delicious. Together with half a liter of wine, you can't fail. Very crowded on a Saturday, but interesting people watching!

Very good empanadas, asked for a mix of meat and chicken. Very filling ! Got the dozen for me & my husband and had two left. :) 90 for dozen of the chicken and 80 for the dozen of meat . There's no wifi here

It's now 12 for 70p and no wine included. Empanadas were good, only meat/chicken. More choice and good WLAN at the casa de las empanadas, close to the plaza. Lots of surprising combinations here with blue cheese, tuna and all kinds of veggies that you normally don't find in the classical empanadas. Comes at a price: 11p per empanada.

Great empanadas! 60 pesos for ones with meat and potatos. Beware that it might open late, when we were there it opened at 9 pm at Sunday.

Locals favor this place....empanadas cooked over wood fire....fabulous... 12 for 50 pesos...other dishes looked great as well....serves local wines and beer at non tourist prices....not sure of hours..WS open Sunday afternoon.
