Definitely one to recommend. We came here at 2pm on a Tuesday and it was absolutely packed and for a reason. The empanadas are delicious. 4000 for 12 in Jan of 2024

Excellent food! Try empanadas, tamal and estofado the cabrito (goat stew)!
Staff very friendly! Strong recommendation!
Report Check-Inthe empenadas are still good but they are now 150 pesos for a dozen, nice place in full of locals
Report Check-InLocals restaurant. I had the Guisado de Lentejas (lentil stew). Not vegetarian, not on the menu but delicious. Ask if they have it or anything else not listed on the menu. You won’t be disappointed. We had empeñadas to go for supper (now 100 pesos for 12).
Report Check-InStill incredible value! Had the steak and chips. It didn’t open until 9pm, but was very popular.
Report Check-InWe came here for lunch, the empanadas weren't ready yet, but the potatoes/cheese ball and the spinach cannelloni where delicious. Together with half a liter of wine, you can't fail. Very crowded on a Saturday, but interesting people watching!
Report Check-InVery good empanadas, asked for a mix of meat and chicken. Very filling ! Got the dozen for me & my husband and had two left. :) 90 for dozen of the chicken and 80 for the dozen of meat . There's no wifi here
Report Check-InVery nice and cheap place to eat, good wifi, very smily owners! Had good lunch for two for 160 pesos
Report Check-InIt's now 12 for 70p and no wine included. Empanadas were good, only meat/chicken. More choice and good WLAN at the casa de las empanadas, close to the plaza. Lots of surprising combinations here with blue cheese, tuna and all kinds of veggies that you normally don't find in the classical empanadas. Comes at a price: 11p per empanada.
Report Check-In6 empanadas and 1/2 litre of local wine for 50 pesos, you can't possibly lose.
Report Check-InGreat empanadas! 60 pesos for ones with meat and potatos. Beware that it might open late, when we were there it opened at 9 pm at Sunday.
Report Check-Incheap, good food where locals gather, menu in spanish only, which is a good sign..
.huuuuge portions
