What a beautiful campsite! Only $15. Self-serve and a bunch of spots available, only maybe 6 spots taken early April. Turned up at around 6pm and left 10am. Hot showers are great - $1.25 for 7 and a half minutes which definitely goes for 10+ minutes!
Well kept and maintained site. Bathrooms + showers are clean and modern-ish. Fair amount of trees + foliage in between each spot so feels pretty private. Very minimal road noise from louder vehicles going past on the highway but a total non-issue. Absolutely no signal on AT&T and Verizon however noticed 1 bar of US Cellular available but not with US Cellular so couldn't test. Highly recommend this spot, especially for only $15.
Report Check-InNot free BUT $15 a night (cheaper than nearby SP sites) had a handful of first come first serve spots, fire pits, picnic tables, privacy between sites, River access (great swimming!). Also nice clean bathrooms and coin op showers. Can also reserve on recreation.gov, but not sure of online price. Sites 16,17,33 are the best in my opinion bc closes to both the bathroom and the River
Report Check-InWonderful little NPS campground with host. Clean restroom and coin operated showers. Paved parking for my 22ft class C. Picnic tables and fire ring. Sound of the river in the background. $8 per night with my senior pass.
Report Check-InSign at entrance said "Full", however, we found at least 4 different sites available for a one night stay.
We paid 15$ at the end of August. Nice large sites and good shower facilities.
Amazing campground. Right on the Smith River, we’ve caught a few fish. Hot showers: $1.00 for 6 minutes as previously posted. It’s $15.00/night off season and there have been almost no one here. Bad cell reception even with a booster, but otherwise an amazing place to camp!
Report Check-InBeautiful campground, $15 night off season. Pretty tight for 25+ ft trailers.
Simple bathrooms, water faucets all around camp but are the container filling type without hose threads. There is freezeproof type faucet on the side of the top front restrooms you can pull up to but requires a sillcock type key to open it. very hot pay shower 4 quarters for 6 minutes. beautiful scenery on the Smith River
$23 USD /night. Very nice campground, huge private sites, good bathrooms and showers (requires quarters). Easy access to the Smith River.
