Even though we knew about the RV ban, we stayed for one night. The place is quite dark and the wind is strong. At times during the night, some cars came and went but it was very peaceful.
Report Check-InVery beautiful place, the sunset is amazing, some wind but not a problem, the police passed by a few times giving a sense of security, some motorhomes and cars stayed nearby overnight
Report Check-Inthis place is the highest up so you get slightly better views than the next lots but it doesn't have any level spots that don't require some tricky parking. plus it's the busiest.

There are many comments here that this place is safe. The police was also surprised it happend there.

Report Check-InGood place! We slept one night ans feel very safe, sometimes it appears some youngs drinking together but we spoke with some and they were very cool! The sunset and sunrise was amazing!

Beautiful peninsula with lots of parking options. Don't miss cute little fisherman's hut at bottom with lots of cats! Now 2 portaloos.

No facilities but safe and quiet (low season)
Beautifull place to spend the night and wake up watching the sunrise. It may get really windy, not a good place to cook outside the car. You are totally exposed there, but it is worth staying for the night.
Report Check-InReally nice place with a fantastic sunset, maybe the best in Uruguay. Lots of people came just for the sunset and 20 min. later we've been alone.
Nice museum in walking distance, a little bit expensive ( 10US$p.p.)

Report Check-InHigh up on a hilltop peninsula. Terrific boondocking spot. Super exposed with no trees or shelter of any kind. If the weather is not good expect to be blown around in the wind like we were! Great fun! No facilities.
