Typical campground and all of the shenanigans that go with it. Generators running most of the time, crowded, loud people acting badly. But the scenery is nice. All of this can be yours for $20 a night! Was told by the campground host that this campground will shortly become reservations only, since about 30% of those staying, avoid paying.

We came into the campground in the afternoon and found a great spot for our 30' trailer. Easy to loop around with large trailer and pick a spot. Our spot (#42) was nice and wide and plenty long for truck and trailer. On the far side of the beach side road, but no other sites between us and the ocean view. We thought the place was just fine, unlike some other reviews. It's not the greatest beach to walk, so go up N to Beach 4 or Kalaloch Beach campground. Sunset is great here. T-Mobile signal is very good. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Awsome spot that we just lucked out and drove in on a Monday afternoon and scored a beach front site. Campground was filled up by the night.
1st come first serve and a $10 senior pass makes it one of the best beachside campsites in Washington

Report Check-In

Awesome spot right on the edge of the beach. Bathrooms no showers. $20 a night.

Report Check-In

First come first serve site, just fill out the payment sheet at the bulletin board and pick an available site. Some ocean front but a view from all of them. 50 something sites available. Only a few people here when we were. Bathrooms but no showers or hook ups.

Spot #49. Not much to look at but great beach access. This campsite has its own path to the beach. Other beach access is at either end of the campground.
Metal fire pit and picnic table.
This space accommodated our 19’ truck and 23’ trailer.

What a beautiful spot! We were so glad we were able to get a site. We paid our $20 online and claimed our space. Each site is numbered with its own picnic table and fire pit. Watched a beautiful sunset

Ocean side for $20 a night. Not sure what people are complaining about. Amazing spot. It’s a dry camp. Read the description. That means no hookups or water. Bring it in. Plan to stay a while.

I think someone’s assessment that this campground has as much appeal as a Walmart parking lot was an understatement. The entire place has run down strip mall feel.

The ocean is the redeeming factor, for sure. I even got to see a few seals feeding during high tide. 😍

I saw an empty oceanfront place big enough for my van and asked the folks if I could pay 1/2 their camp fee to park there. They said yes. Friendly folks and great conversationalists.

I would never have stayed even one night without ocean front.

2-3 bars with Verizon. Flush toilets, but no other water.

Report Check-In

No potable water, but the toilets use running water.
Beautiful.

$10 is only for NPS Interagency Access (ie disability) or Golden (seniors). All others are $20.

This site is literally looking right out at the ocean. The grounds ain’t nothing special, but again…looking right at the ocean.

I've loved my three days here. love that it's FCFS so I was able to easily get a spot. right on the ocean and saw whales! good location to visit Ruby beach from and HOH rain forest.

First come first serve campsite on the beach. $20/night & self-serve. The sites are pretty close together. Got here around 1pm on the 4th of July and there were about 5 spots open. Average phone service with Verizon.

Report Check-In

This site is amazing! Got here on a Monday and the site is pretty full but not surprised considering the amazing views.

Price is now $20 per night. Showed up on a rainy Monday and all of the waterfront and forest spots were full, leaving only the spots in the middle of the gravel lot available. Very little privacy between sites, but lovely beach access, flush toilets, and garbage available. The toilets flush brown water so I wouldn’t trust the potable water. One bar of LTE on ATT.

Campground is open. Nice ocean view, flush toilet, no water. $15 a day, a bit packed in.

Hello, they are working to make this place too a campsite. It's closed for the Moment / Season
But if they would ve open it would be a really cool campsite!

Just as described. Open area, was a former gravel pit but now a great ocean front camping spot. Only $7.50 with Sr or Access Pass.
