Report Check-In

We had stopped here overnight on our travels west in July. It was a bit tight for our 40’ Motorhome and trailer but it was nice enough that we stopped on our return to have lunch.

Report Check-In

Very good place to stay overnight. It is a clean place with Picknick places and the nature is amazing. We heard the trains at night, but they reminded me of my childhood.

Report Check-In

talked to the miller highway guy said no problem to stay here

Report Check-In

Was completely full at 9pm tonight, both the truck parking and the picnic area.

Chose to drive on to next truck pullout.

Report Check-In

As described. Sign saying "picnic use only, no dumping garbage". Bugs weren't bad today, just a lot of flies. Be weary of google maps directions as we got sent up a rough path on the other side of the highway lol

Report Check-In

Stayed for one night. Nice place. Near the highway, thus truck noise can be heard but minimal.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

As described. We stayed overnight in our 25 ft motorhome. No issues. Lots of trucks coming and going. Their area is separated from the passenger vehicles. Not a large area. Not suitable for class A’s or 5th wheels. Right at the water. Nice clean area.

Report Check-In

Nice rest area to stay for a night. There were other cars and nobody bothered us.

There’s a lot of noise from the Highway + the train, but I was able to sleep.

Gates are closes in may, but you can still park your car. And there’s signal for your phone.

As a girl travelling alone, I felt safe sleeping here.

Report Check-In

Located east of Martin, Ontario directly off of Trans-Canada Hwy 17 on eastbound side—clean bathrooms, bear-proof garbage cans, picnic tables and picnic shelter, all overlooking Lodge Lake—trucks park in front of washrooms just off of the highway and cars, vans and SUV’s can park alongside and overlooking Lodge Lake.

Report Check-In

Nice spot, bugs not too bad, cleaning outhouses in the morning thorough with lots of bleach. Noise at nighttime not too bad either. Trees for shade, and (sheltered) picknick tables

Report Check-In

Between the TransCanada and a small pond with big rig parking, then a few spots and pit toilets. A bit of noise from the highway, but not terrible the later it gets.

Report Check-In

Has outhouses. Was in my van, lots of trains and big trucks going by and it’s right off the highway so it was a bit loud and the bugs were bad but still a great safe place to stop with a beautiful view!

Report Check-In

Perfect spot for a night, even if we can hear noise from the highway.
View on the lake is nice, pit toilet and pic nic tables.
Thanks to the city to allow this, please keep it clean so we can keep this privilege!
Exploravan, family on the road for a year, from Quebec to Costa Rica!

Report Check-In

one of the best rest stops we have ever seen!

Report Check-In

Nice rest stop and the view in the morning is quite pretty. Pit toilets were frequented.

Report Check-In

Very nice, clean place. Semi’s use the front parking area; vehicles/rv’s in back closer to the small, lily pad filled lake. Toilets, picnic tables available.
Close to road so you hear some traffic noise and a train on the other side of the hwy, which we heard a couple of times in the evening and following morning but NOT through the night. We use ear plugs so slept well not bothered by any light sounds.
Definitely recommend this place for a quick overnight, safe stay.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Nice spot overlooking the lake with pit toilets and picnic tables. Little bit of highway noise as expected but we didnt mind.

Report Check-In

Real name of the place is written on a sign at the entrance: Lodge Lake Park.
Trucks must go in front and cars behind.
Really nice place by the lake. Not too noisy even if trucks and trains pass by. I walked all around and saw no sign forbidding overnight parking.

Report Check-In

Beautiful place to spend a night , as described the noise wasn’t that bad for us. I definitely recommend. We have a class C 24’

Report Check-In

Really beautiful rest stop area with washrooms. No hook ups. Some traffic and train noise but did not bother us.

Report Check-In

Lots of garbage cans and a couple washrooms. Definitely a good place to stop for one night and co to ur your travels. You can hear highway noise and a train but not a big deal or too annoying. The lake is nice with the Lillypads and some geese.

Report Check-In

We stayed here for the night with our Class C 28 feet RV. Highway is very close, so very loud at night but great view of the lake!

Report Check-In

Nice spot, not busy when we were there. A few trucks at the front but nobody else at the back portion, bugs weren't too bad but it was kind of cool at night.

Report Check-In

Nice lake and rest stop. VERY busy for parking overnight.

Report Check-In

As described. Several other campers in trucks, cars and tents. Try and stay away from the road, it gets quiet later in the night but you can definitely hear it. Train went by a few times as well.

Lots of mosquitoes in the morning. Nice lake views though.

Just a pit toilet with no running water.

Report Check-In

Beautiful. Looks like you can actually camp here as there USA pad for a tent and fire
Ring. Toilets aw well.

Report Check-In

As described it was a nice location. Spent 2 nights, no problems, did some fishing and caught and released a few pike

Report Check-In

Nice rest area with the lake. We can take a natural shower in it. Not as calm as other spot but not too bad (trucks and trains all night)

Report Check-In

Well sleep, a lot of truck stop to sleep in the first parking close to the road.
Dry toilet

6/10

Report Check-In

Nice place and did the job for a few of us by the looks. bit small if it’s a busy night and you want the privacy of parking near the lake off the highway. Shame it was bucketing rain all night and the drops off the trees were amplified on my van roof. Was a sleepless night, not to mention a tree limb falling on me! Spooked me for sure but was a nice place regardless

Report Check-In

Nice little rest area to stop in for the night. Lots of cars spent the night and a couple big rigs. Pretty well trafficked. Good view of the lake. Some train noise early in the night.

Report Check-In

nice spot by the lake. there are several places so if the immediate spot is occupied, you should have no trouble finding another closer by.

Report Check-In

Rest area. Pleasant place for one night. Picnic tables, toilets. Grass and trees.
RV and cars came for the night. Lot of travelers come and go for using toilets.
Good for a night on Hwy 17

Report Check-In

As the title says there is a beautiful Lake with lily pads and a rest stop beside.
