Lovely offical campground. Mostly clean vault toilets. Pretty lake. It looks like mosquitos swarm intensely, but as it turns out they are inert mosquitos!-- Bugs that appear like mosquitos, but don't bite
They just fly around the place for no reason at all. Not a single real mosquito was encountered.

Report Check-In

Well maintained, paved road throughout with plenty of sites. Beautiful view at site #21 with a steep path to the water. Looks like a short walk to the pier. The campground is essentially empty- the Wednesday after Memorial Day. Park Ranger said he makes rounds every hour or two. $20 CAN- per night, pay the ranger. Gate is shut between 11pm and 7am. Bugs are pretty bad close to the water- but thermocell and mild bug spray have worked great. Windy until sunset. Fire ban in effect. Can hear lots of birds and an owl. Wish people didn’t leave trash in the fire pits- if you cannot burn it, pack it out please! It will either attract wildlife or end up scattered or in the lake. Thnx!

Nice place with view on the lake. No. 22 is not reservable in call centre or online. First comes... We were lucky/ $ 20.- per night. Nice staff who collects money and Cheng chewythe area frequently.
About half of the Camp is full. Lots of families. During day many boats in the lake.

Nice campground and well spaced sites. Most are not on the water, which didn't seem a great place for swimming but there is a boat ramp and playground. There was a few threaded water spigots throughout. I didn't have cell on ATT.

Disregard my last comment about wifi, I meant good cell reception.

Nice Campground. Good wifi. Enough privacy on each campsite. Easy to get to. Quiet. I've been here twice and it's my go to on my way to the Yukon.
