Close to the lookouts for the glacier, but far enough from the highway to not hear as much noise. A very large flat asphalted parking lot at the end of trailhead road. Any sized camper will fit here and you can find a spot to pitch a tent. Not a bad spot for a night. No glacier view.

I stayed there last night. it's good for an overnight, but you're in full view of the highway, albeit a couple of hundred yards back at its furthest point.
Report Check-InGood place to spend a night or two. We were the only ones there for the night. There were trucks passing-by on the highway in the distance until later at night. But the noise was bearable. There were quite a few vehicles passing by the parking lot to access the river/trails during the day.
Report Check-InWe stayed two nights. The first night was great. The second night not so good. People were up past midnight with kids playing outside laughing and screaming, then they got in a very loud truck and started revving its engine and driving around for a few hours. There were also generators running all night. Don't people know that you should not run the generator at night while people are sleeping?
Report Check-InBig open lot, distanced healthily from highway, access for 4-wheeler trails, sits by a creek
Report Check-Ingood spot for the night, gravel area behind the asphalt looks regularly used incl. firepits. quiet with decent views of surroundings but nothing special. the road is a dead end leading down under the highway bridge to the river, that part however is marked as private property.
Report Check-InDrove by on the way to Palmer…just confirming that this pull off would accommodate a big rig and had one bar ATT. Further from the road from the nearby pull off. Good for one night.
