Great spot. I got here at 8:30am on a Friday, it was $8.45 until 6am Saturday. I accidentally extended it another 20 hours Saturday. No issues. They patrol the lot all day making sure vehicles paid.

It’s right near the river, great vegan place, coffee shop, bars, walking paths and more nearby. There’s also a clean public restroom not far, I’m assuming with the same hours as the park which closes at 11.

I saw the other check in saying there’s free stealth parking close by but it wasn’t completely clear if the 5 spots were free, lots of 2-hour parking signs around there. This lot was worth the $9 for peace of mind.

Some noise at night from folks leaving the bars but it didn’t bother me. I’d come back

Spent one night here no problem except for the muscle cars driving around till midnight or so. Quiet after that. Paid $8 for the overnight and bought an extra 2 hours ahead of time so didn’t have to wake up at 6 am to refill.

GPS coordinates listed here are for one particular lot, but there is another smaller lot west of this lot (just west of the Market Street Bridge) that is operated by the same company with the same rules and costs. We spent 2 nights here with no issues except it seemed to be a place where friends like to hang out for a while in the evenings and were a bit rowdy one night til about 11:30. We were backed up to lots of trees though and had all kinds of birds singing and flying around almost all the time. Would definitely stay again.

Report Check-In

The parking lot was completely full when we arrived on a Saturday afternoon because of an event.
After dinner we found a spot. I was loud with people and loud cars from the street so our ear plugs came in handy. The lot emptied after midnight and it was quiet. Woke up to many birds singing.
There is a ‘add time’ feature on machine so after you pay your $6, you shouldn’t have to get up at 6:00 am if you add extra time.

Nice place to camp, right next to a coffee shop and beautiful park. $6 will last you most of the day and night, which is not bad at all for the location. Many police officers driving by throughout the day and night. Security patrolling the park. Kept very clean. There is a similar parking lot across the river west of the aquarium. The Outdoor Chattanooga staff said we could use their bathrooms and (cold) showers throughout the day. Other than some loud cars and bass, awesome place to stay!

I love this place. Sundays are very quiet and free parking all day. We Enjoyed walking in the park along the river and crossing the bridge. I arrived a Saturday afternoon just before sunset and it was quite busy with bar noise and those coming and going. I didn’t hear much street traffic further away. Great stay would definitely make this a place. Also I found a pole that had an outlet and when it got dark I plugged ran my heat and electric blanket. So happy for that score! No problems at all.

Paid $6 to park overnight, expires at 5:59am but you can get up and just pay an extra few dollars to stay a few more hours. $1 for up to another hour, $2 for 2-3 hours and so on. Literally right next to the park so I was able to spend a few hours before bed walking the park and enjoying the sun set. Was absolutely lovely. Just the normal traffic sounds but wasn’t too bad once it passed about 11pm. If you’re a light sleeper definitely park closer to the end of parking lot farther from the road and it helps a lot more than you’d think. The park has restrooms open from 7am-11pm, they’re about a 1 minute walk from this parking lot. Overall has a good experience here and would definitely use this location again.

Parked my Class B for most of the day and overnight. No issue. Got up at 6:00 a.m. to re-up.

Great spot for a van / class B. Bigger will not fit. Parked two nights here in my Transit conversion. Mostly quiet but some noise of people coming/going. Friday night got a little loud, so we left for a cracker barrel. There's a blue pickup that seems to arrive at 630 in the morning and play his music rather loud - seems to park to the left of the purple bus so avoid that side.

Stayed one night. Regular size parking spaces. Fine for my 22ft truck and slide in camper. Would not work for large vehicles or trailers. If you are a light sleeper park away from River St as it has residential and utility traffic most of the night. The parking fee expires at 6am. Can renew at the kiosk or from bed using the ParkMobile app.

Paid to stay in the parking lot on NYE. It was quiet except for the drunk people coming back to their cars at 2:30am.

Stayed peacefully for 1 night. Paid $6 for 12hrs and woke up at 5:59 to renew our parking stub. Quiet, well-lit but not too bright, and a great place to walk around and see the city

It looks like it’s free between 6 and 930 am and all day Sunday. I pulled in around 730 on Saturday no ticket no hassles. It has fri WiFi as well.

Amazing spot! Spent 3 nights here. $6.35 with tax included for 20 hour parking. They will give you a ticket if you do not pay ahead of time. No one bothered us. Very close to many things to do in dwtn. Chattanooga. Will be back here for sure!

Report Check-In

Good place. Cheap. Well lit. A little loud on a Saturday night but no one bothered us at all.

Report Check-In

Great place to stay. Asked the security and it's allowed to overnight. 6 dollar till 6 am, then you had to move or pay a extra ticket for 1 hour or more.

Report Check-In

$6 a night to park over night. The only annoying thing is you have to repurchase your ticket at 6am. But it’s in a nice trendy neighborhood right next to a beautiful park and the river. Stayed on a weekend and there was a little noise coming from the bars but not too bad. Slept really well.

A city park on the Tennessee River right by a kayak launch. Paid parking lot ($6 for 3-24 hours). Stayed all night with no issues, we did wake up to renew our payment at 5:59am). It was the night of the July 4 fireworks, so it was noisy until around 11pm, but then it was quiet until the next morning. One block from Chattanooga North Shore Main Street with fun shops and cafes.
