this spot is on blm land near strawberry reservoir it's free 14 day stay limit overlooking the reservoir there are rock fire rings and lots of spots the road is a little rough but anything can drive up here. there is a pit toilet just off the highway in a large parking lot.

Report Check-Inlarge beautiful sites in the trees on a hill overlooking strawberry reservoir. easy access from highway 40, some highway noise but more than enough birds to listen to that you can ignore the road. some sites have better views, some have more trees. Typical dirt road access with a pit toilet down at the highway #BlkWgn
Report Check-InLes premiers 200m de piste sont ok. Ensuite c’est une catastrophe: piste défoncée, ornières et surtout de gros cailloux. Il faut une bonne suspension et un véhicule haut. Pas nécessaire d’avoir un 4x4 car ce n’est pas très en pente. Nous avons dormi sur côté ouest, à mi-chemin car on ne voulait pas abîmer plus notre camping-car. Depuis là, on entend l’autoroute, mais avec les fenêtres fermées, ça allait. Il y a des toilettes en bas, au stationnement près de l’autoroute.
