Didn’t stay here but drove through to check it out (I stayed at Arch Campground) other than site 22 and 28 at Arch, I would say the next best at Atlatl Rock, facing the campground would be the very back right (Northeast). I didn’t record the number and haven’t found a map to suggest the actual number but thought I’d give you a heads up!

It is a matter of taste but we like the Arch Rock campsite much more. You stay between the rocks in cosy areas. On Atlati it is more busy and there are more huge vans. Nevertheless its oké and the Valley of Fire is beautifull. Campsite is clean, more or less level and quiet.

Excellent. Clean w warm showers (mediocre pressure), dump, fresh water, and bighorn sheep.

Hiking in the park is out of this world.

Great park, the campground is cheap and very well maintained, I loved it. Sleeping literally by to the massive red rock mounts is awesome.
It fills up quickly though, even in November. Very weak to non-existent cell signal though

Super beautiful Campground! If you already paid 15USD state park entrance it is only 10USD for camping. Every spot as its own water tap and a roof for shade. We also saw some big horn sheep! Clean facilies and great state park!

There’s wifi available for purchase. Saw mountain goats

Really cool for a state park! First come first serve these days. They fill up fast though. We arrived at 4pm and the last spot had been snagged almost an hour before, for both campsites. The sites here are still very private and in crags of huge red rock. One way rd winds around big formations with campsites tucked inside each cranny. Some are totally private but most have two or three sites per cranny. Flush toilets here in Atlatl and NOT in Arch Rock campground next door. 2022 prices are $25/35 for full hook ups. It’s $15 just to get in this AMAZING park (for non state res), so quite a deal. Arch Rock was more like a normal state park, out in the open with pit toilets. Fire Wave trail is most popular but do continue on to find Seven Wonders—it is ten times better, though a little hard to find the loop at its source. You will want to follow the creek bed to the right instead to the left which feels more natural. Don’t give up and go back!!! Photo is of the slot canyon in Seven Wonders. (We stayed at primitive site “Monocline”, just outside the park instead, and hiked in the am)

A Nevada State Park campground; $25 for day use plus camping. Nice level private sites, not really any shade. Each site has water.

sweet place. showers a bit nicer by the RV camp. Great wildlife viewing. As we came into the park, Big Horn. Then a pair of Phainopepla around the camp. A bit crowded for our taste. Make sure you really mark your camp if you leave for the day. People with a hundred kids poached our camp while we were out hiking. We had stuff hanging in the brush and stuff on the table. Our tag clearly marked. Had to go get the ranger. Drama! Why would you come up to a camp and say it's yours if it weren't? The guy actually argued with us!

Nice spot, Atlatl Rock provides showers and sites for hook up, we stayed at Arch Rock just next to it. Smaller camping and no hook up options, however the spots are more private and all provide table/benches under a sun roof as well as BBQ and water taps. Pit toilets available, no mobile reception. 20$ per car & night (cash only) including park entrance fee.

Beautiful, clean and level sites. Each site has a fire ring with grill, covered picnic table you can hang your hammock from and fresh water. $10 park entrance fee plus $10 campground fee. Hot showers (adjustable temp) are included. Free dump station and potable water are close by. Lots of garbage cans around. Flush toilets available. 1 bar 4G Verizon service, occasionally gets to 2 bars, sometimes drops out.

There are two campgrounds next to each other, first the atlatl (with showers and hookups, 44 sites in total, but fills up very quickly) and secondly the arch rock campsite on which we stayed. This one has 29 sites without hookups and pit toilets only. Very nice and quiet campsite, restrooms were clean, picknick tables and bbq for each site and water available. We recommend not to arrive very late in the afternoon as it is a first come fis serve basis and even on a Wednesday in October it was completely full. Some small walks in the park and a vert nice and quiet place to stay. Price is still 10$ to enter the park and 10$ for camping to be paid at the camground.

A unique campground nestled among bizarrely shaped red sandstone peaks and boulders. Some petroglyph viewable in a day use area a short stroll away. Nice sunshelters over picnic tables. If you are tenting and don't mind not having a sunshelters, check out the walk-in campsites here.
