Camping in the US is a different experience. Crowded sites, very hard to get a spot (almost impossible), expensive, but being in such beautiful NP is worth it. Payed 85 USD for 2 ground tent + RTT and 15 for family combo shower. Previous online reservation is a must during high season. - recreation.gov. Showers until 9 pm.

Now $55 a night for dry camping (thanks Booz Allen). Handy after a long day of hiking and biking though. Got the last spot on a Friday night, booked the day before. Our site wasn't even level. There are two campgrounds here, one is an RV specific one with hookups and the other is dry camping with generators only allowed on some loops.

Ended up coming back here after boondocking in between Yellowstone and the Tetons didn’t work out, as most of the forest service roads were closed from snow or flooding. This is a good reliable spot, reservations required but can be done easily on recreation.gov. I booked 20 minutes before arriving. Peaceful little spot amongst the pines

Large campground in Grand Teton National Park. All sites must be reserved online but you can reserve a site the day of using the free wifi at Colter Bay Village. We were there over Memorial Day Weekend and there were still a handful of sites that had no reservation tags or occupants. Some sites are tent only. Some loops allow generators, others don't. The dense forest of this campground means you don't see many of your neighbors from your campsite and you don't hear their generators unless you're in a generator loop. Short hike from camp to Jackson Lake. Beautiful views!
