Quite spot not far off 40. Nice flat camp spot for 2-3 overland vehicles. Do not need 4x4 to access this spot. Nice big fire ring.

Road blocked and unable to make it all the way to coordinates. A dirt mound placed in the middle of the road with signs saying no access for motorized vehicles. You can park before the dirt mound and walk to a couple spots. There are also three spots prior with fire rings right before inaccessible point.
Report Check-InBeautiful free campsites on dirt road right off of 40. Plenty of sites, fire ring, flat areas and a short walk to the creek. We tent camped. There was some highway noise but not too bad. And some mosquitos but also not too bad.
Report Check-InSnowed in as may 13th in 2021, maybe able to camp here in 2-4 weeks, still 2'+ snow on road.
Report Check-InThis location was inaccessible due to large snow banks in early May. GPS took us to two different locations - neither of them accessible. Found a large parking area instead to spend the night a few hundred yards away.
Report Check-InLots of spots up the road to pull off and camp for the night in the forest. 4wd highly recommended in the winter. I had 3-4 bars 3g but service wasn’t great regardless. No bathrooms or fire pits but a nice quiet area for free.
