Description

Gravel frontage road off main highway 97.
Level site. Quiet. Beautiful. A nice place to pull over and sleep. But that's about it

Latest Check-Ins

Nice quiet spot that is isolated from the road. Another car came in, didn’t bother us and they left first thing in the morning.
Big enough to make a nice wide turn with a toy hauler.

Report Check-In

Not bad for a free overnight if visiting the hot springs. Right above the road but fairly quiet. We parked by the road toward the bridge but you have your pick of more hidden nooks or a wide open area in the middle.

Report Check-In

Very accessible parking areas for multiple vehicles. Closer to the road spots have a nice view of the bridge and mountains.
A little creepy with all the abandoned buildings and machinery but spent a very quiet peaceful night here.

Report Check-In

Plenty room for everyone. There was 1 big RV parked near the entrance of the pull off and a smaller one further in. A couple vehicles came by (not sure if they stayed). Slept well and did not hear any traffic.

Report Check-In

Plenty of room for big rigs. We were the only ones here. Took a spot where we could see the bridge and the river a little bit. Have a mountain view. But better than a campground for us.

As described. If you drive past the gravelled area you can find small po keys to tuck into. Some areas have junk scattered but it’s free and quiet. We used bug spray and managed great. Better than paying for the provincial park and close neighbours with dogs and generators. We have an outdoor shower and the bonus was having grass to step onto instead of gravel or sand.

Report Check-In

Good overnight spot. We got in around 9:30pm with multiple other vehicles but plenty of room.

Report Check-In

Long gravel wide frontage road. Further east toward bridge a family had set up a vacation camp to the right.

Report Check-In

Great spot to spend the night. Quiet and secluded. Several other RVs parked nearby. Appears to be an old gas station back in the day. Lots of old decrepit buildings and other structures. The price was right.

Nice place to sleep one night. Near the bridge with nice view on the river. Lot of mosquitos. Advantage : you are at two minutes from the hot springs. If you go earlier you have place for you and can see moose !!

A nice place for a sleep before Laird Hot Springs. We had some Buffalo roam through in the morning. Nice views of the bridge. Explored the abandoned buildings and met a local and he said its part of the old Alaskan Highway!

Report Check-In

Bison woke me up at 5am. They walked right by the truck, the whole herd with babies. It was beautiful. Last night was windy and had some road noise, but I slept well until the Bison showed up and my dog let me know. This was an added bonus to this spot for sure!

Report Check-In

There is an abandoned homestead here, if you are into that sort of thing and great views ast the house of the bridge and river. It is better IMO then the other side of the bridge and you can bring bigger rigs here.
